Blazeaway
Leigh Adams, because Nicki will suffer from not riding in the greatest league in the world - THE ELITE LEAGUE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Â No chance mate. Â Heart says Nicki but my head says Crumpy. Â Hans Andersen will not win the World Championship as long as I've got a hole in my ar$e. Oblong
I can't see anyone challenging Nicki for the title this year. I think the gulf in quality is too huge to close. I can't see Leigh being as competitive as last year, and I don't see Crump returning to his title-winning form. I think the closest challenger will be Gollob, if he can keep his form of the end of last year going. Hans will end up in around the same place. Andreas will be solid top 8 but with fluctuating form. Â My top 8: Nicki Gollob Hans Adams Crump Andreas Scotty / Lindgren / Bjarne ]-fight over last 2 places

Diesel
If Crump is back on form expect Adams to roll over and hand Jason points whenever needed like the lapdog that he is.
Subedei
I'm going with Jason Crump to regain the title. I don't know what it is with Crump? Why does he seem to switch off after he's won the world title? Now, he'll be fired up to regain a lost crown and I think he'll do it - he remains a better rider than Nicki Pedersen. My early thoughts on the riders: Â Nicki Pedersen - will be there or thereabouts and certainly on the podium. Â Leigh Adams - it would be nice to see him crowned champion, but I still think he lacks the killer instinct to go that extra yard. Â Jason Crump - see my comments on this youngster above. Â Hans Andersen - will pay the price for sticking with Jawa, in my view. Â Tomasz Gollob - will have his moments, but relies on conditions being "favourable" for him. Â Greg Hancock - likely to continue to drift, although he can never be discounted on the temporary tracks. Â Rune Holta - I don't see him doing too much and will probably slip out of the GPs at the end of the season. Â Scott Nicholls - same old, same old, I suspect. Â Chris Harris - I think he'll struggle with second season blues. Â Andreas Jonsson - if he stays free from injury, Jonsson could be a force and certainly in contention for the podium. Â Bjarne Pedersen - why did he bother qualifying when he shows so little interest in the GPs? Â Lukas Dryml - will struggle, in my view. Â Neils-Kristian Iversen - only there because the qualification final was held at Vojens and will struggle. Â Fredrik Lindgren - could do okay, but I can't see him qualifying by right for 2009. Â Krzysztof Kasprzak - I think Kasprzak will be the surprise packet of 2008.

SPEEDY69
Think it will be between Crump and Adams next year, otherwise I think it will run pretty much as other years, Jonsson, Gollob & Nicholls will have thier moments and Hancock will remain top 8. Guest Schumi
Yes, okay, you're excused. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hope you'll excuse me for this - you taught me well. Â Neither Nicki P, Hans Andersen, or anyone else in the field for that matter, are of the calibre of TR. For me, this coming season is a one horse race and Jason Crump is that horse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Can't see anyone but Crump winning it - he's head, shoulders and torso above the rest at the minute, as far as I'm concerned. Nicki P might win the odd GP, but I don't think he has the consistency to trouble Crump over a 10-11 series. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Jason Crump:...Personally, I consider him head and shoulders above the rest at the minute and someone will have to produce something very special to prevent him winning again next season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Edited December 13, 2007 by Schumi

And when Jason Crump has won the title this coming season, I'll excuse him for his displays in 2007. He's a superior rider to Nicki P. iris123
I hope Nicki goes on to retain the title.Quite possible he will, but like i said last year about Crump,it doesn't always work like that.If Nicki doesn't do it i think it will be a complete outsider rather than Crump or Adams. My bet would be Jonsson
