I thought he had been loaned out to Newcastle at some time, but maybe not. Quite why else he would have been at Eastbourne I wouldnt know. Unless on-spec for a second-half ride there. In all, he made nine appearances for Newcastle that year, after injury had sidelined a couple of the Diamonds' team. Hope that helps.
