Pollyanna
Its my new mission in Life! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know he won it, but how good a rider would you say Chris Holder is? Everyone in the UK seems to think he is something extra-special and as you haven't seen him ride for a year, would be interested in your opinion. Thanks x

Thanks x <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He is the genuine article, Pollyanna. He openly admits Mildura (there's that word again) is not really that high up on his list of favourite tracks, but from his opening ride it was evident he was a man on a mission; he came out of the blocks like a rocket, led into turn one and by the end of the first lap he was a straight ahead. Only race he lost was v Freddie when Freddie was in white and Chris yellow; only win out of yellow all night was Troy in the B main. Last year at Gillman he ended up on the podium 3rd behind Crumpy (2nd) and The Man from Mildura!, so tonight should be a ripper, with Filip having ridden here before and Freddie quickly coming to terms with our tracks I'm looking forward to some great duels. I'm a bigfat Rooboy fan as you may be aware; (He is a Territorian after all!) looking forward to seeing Chris & Rory carry on Oz's hopes in SGP; IMHO its a toss of the coin to see which one becomes our next World Champ, after Leigh in 2008 and Jason again in 2009 of course! I've never seen him race "live " on track, only on TV/DVDs. Pity that Rory (Rooboy) isn't contesting the Oz championships this year then BFD.
