colincooke
As this is my 1000th post i'm celebrating it with a poser for you. In speedway history there have been 4 occasions when riders from the same nation have achieved a clean sweep 1-2-3 on the World Championship rostrum. The question: Name the years & the 3 riders in finishing order. Good luck CC

Ron Butler
Easy when you have the answers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dirty cheat! No really, Schumi, I'm jealous because my two remaining little grey cells could only come up with 1949. That was easy because I was there and the minor placings were both Belle Vue riders. Your source of info was very interesting to this old veterand supporter. Joy to you. Ron.

Mama
Extra question: what makes the result of the 1949 final extra special? -> It was first time when only results of the final decide on final classification -> Also 4th place came to the same nation rider (N.Parker) -> Two riders with the same name (brothers?) were high-ever-placed (2nd Jack Parker, 4th N. Parker)

Saint Rob
Not a grand prix related question but I'll throw it in anyway. Only 2 riders have won the BRITISH ELITE LEAGUE 3 times. Name the riders and the years they won it and what teams they rode for
