Steve Shovlar
MD, a rare breed along with mmmmmmethenal as a decent budgie fan! You coming up tomorrow Mark? Edited March 8, 2008 by Steve Shovlar

colincooke
Considering you have introduced yourself to me twice last season I think you know who I am Stop trying to be the self righteous guy. You are coming across as a pompous know-it-all whose views mean little to most. I would also add a forum is for people with a common interest with differing views. I have completely different views to you, but do I come along and slag you off without being provoked? No. As far as I am concerned my opinion is mine and as this is an open forum I am quite free to post my own thoughts, as long as I abide by the rules. But over the last few days you have broken the rules by attacking the poster and not the post. That alone is against the rules of this forum. I rarely attack a poster unless they go for me. If you can't handle my posts, put me on ignore user. Its very easy and if you can't find the button ask a mod and they will show you how to do it. Steve knowing who someone is & knowing what someone is are 2 very different matters. Far from being self- righteous i try to speak for all fans & i think you know that, it's my fair nature.Provocation can work both ways, if what is posted by one seems to be unfair to others i will challenge it.Of course this meeting is a celebration of Poole, but riders fom all clubs are entertaining on the day & the needs of their supporters should be enhaced also, as i'm sure they have, you don't seem to realise you make it sound as if you don't give a damn. This is no attack it's just an opinion. Now you have a good day & enjoy tomorrow Steve, as i say circumstances mean i'll regretabbly not be there. M.D
MD, a rare breed along with mmmmmmethenal as a decent budgie fan! You coming up tomorrow Mark? Hi Steve, im not sure I will be there on Sunday as I have commitments on that day. So unless Adam needs me down there I very much doubt it im afraid (My loss as it will be a cracker of a meeting) but I will be down on Wednesday and up in Essex on Friday. f-s-p
Bob is right I'd say, his official website says its Emil Sajfutdinov I wouldn't lose any sleep over the pronounciation. I read a news article a week ago that said 70 % of Russians dont know how their name is spelled. Problems with j vs i vs y like here... spin king
I am just going to add to the Steve Shovlar and Coventry debate, sorry Steve but you have spent as much time on the Coventry v Sheffield thread as I have, the vast majority of fans contributing to that thread have basically told you to shut up, yet you still keep invading the post, but still insist posting your comments on it, that is okay and fine by me everyone has their opinions I don't agree with everybody, but like I say everyone is entitled to a opinion, and this is a forum where you should be allowed to voice your opinion. What I will say is that if your are going to go onto other people's threads expect and accept that others are going to come on yours, the saying involving people throwing stones and glasshouse's come to mind when I think of you Steve. In saying that I hope the weather holds for you all at Poole, and the meeting goes ahead, there is no denying that this is one of the best if not the best line ups for a meeting in this country, and one that the Poole fans and Promotion must be proud and pleased to host. No doubt Mr Shovlar will comeback at me spitting his venom, but not worry I am a big boy.

No doubt Mr Shovlar will comeback at me spitting his venom, but not worry I am a big boy. Not from me, but it seems if you don't like my opinion its venom! I was vocal on the Coventry V Sheffield thread because the fans are being ripped off by an inferior product. Being charged £15 to watch a completely one sided meeting is a rip-off. Period. It will either be a slaughter or a fix, and I hope its the former for the good of the sport. The excuse that EL guests are not allowed to be used by PL sides was blown out of the water when KL booked Crump to guest for them at Ipswich. Sheffield booked Hall and Woffinden! I also posted on the Peterborough V Mildenhall thread and said the same thing. A farcial way to start the season. Sure, Sheffield V Coventry and Mildenhall V Peterborough will be fun, but not the other way around. If you take offence at that I am sorry but I am just giving my opinion. You are free to attack my posts, thats what a forum is for, to debate. But to just slag me off and say I post venom is rubbish. I give my opinion and I welcome argument the other way, but I don't attack posters on here unless I am personally attacked first. And it seems that there are a few on here who need to read the rules regarding that. Anyway back on topic and now only less than 24 hours to go before the biggest meeting of the domestic season takes place at Wimborne Road. With the festicities starting in little under 4 hours, its going to be a grreat weekend for Poole fans.

rabbit
Weather playing ball so far - only a few showers of drizzle none of which are lasting long. Sun currently trying to break through and nothing of real note following in on the rainfall radar either. Have it on good authority that measures are being taken to protect the track today just in case. Tomorrow's forecast still seems to be mostly sunny spells with the odd shower. Today ain't 'arf dragging though!

Well we are on our way in a little over 2 hours to the Poole Gala Evening. Should be a fantastic night with over 320 of us and Nigel is putting on a show from over the years, plus I guess many interviews with World Champs and previous top Poole men. What a super way to start the season.

rabbit
Judging by Monday's forecast I don't think we'll get it all our own way. Call it the ying and yang of meteorology.

shazzybird
Any mod that feels i'm out of order here please PM me & i'll gladly delete anything that you oppose to. Some of us are gents. If you feel you had to add that comment on the end of your posting then maybe you considered it out of order slightly MD, a rare breed along with mmmmmmethenal as a decent budgie fan! Maybe MD should of used a tongue in cheek smilie rather than a wink in his reply then you might not think that Steve, all smiles now Adam is there riding tomorrow different story last week though hey MD

Steve Shovlar
Shazzy, I do agree that Sheilds should have been in from the off. But glad he is in now. Rather have had Lindgren in place of Hampel though. Will you be in budgieland on Good Friday?
