Vicar
http://www.movit-sport.nl/knmv/KNMV%20Spee...Totaalstand.pdf Why de Jong gained 10th may 50 points for win, but in first two rounds only 20? What does mean "X" in results on http://www.baansportfansite.nl// ? Edited May 12, 2008 by Vicar
DutchGrasstrack
As alot of riders where moaning about the racing formats of the KNMV... and I totally agree with that! Very wierd formats with riders who meet other riders in every heat and riders who meet other riders in none of there heats . So they are trying to get 16 riders for the "Senioren" every round of the Dutch Championship to make a "fair" format (like GP)... if they fail to get 16 riders.... the top riders of the "Nationalen" will move (if they want!) into the "Senioren" for that meeting to get 16 riders. The championship-points are as follow: 1. 50 2. 47 3. 45 4. 43 5. 41 6. 40 7. 39 ... 16. 30 If a rider in the "Senioren" is a "Nationalen" rider, his points will count for the "Nationalen" championship. So if you are a "Nationalen" rider and you ride in the "Senioren" in a meeting and you will finish last you will get more points if you finish first in the "Nationalen". To Explain... 10 May Vledderveen, championship points: Senioren: 1. Jannick de Jong 50 2. Thomas Sorensen 47 3. Mark Stiekema 45 4. Roy Klaassens 43 5. Henry van der Steen 41 6. Berry de Vos 40 7. Nick Lourens 39 8. Sjoerd Rozenberg 38 9. Pascal Swart 37 10. Henk Bos 36 11. Jan Okke Loonstra 35 12. Dennis Noordman 34 Nationalen rider 13. Bernd Dinklage 33 Nationalen rider 14. Lars Zandvliet 32 Nationalen rider 15. Benjamin Borgers 31 16. Jeroen van der Veen 30 Nationalen: 1. Kai Huckenbeck 29 2. Isak-Jacob Mulder 28 3. Kevin Kremer 27 4. Stefan Blauw 26 5. Kelly Velda 25 6. Marcel Sebastian 24 7. Ramon Steenbergen 23 8. Sjors de Jong 22 9. Jan Meijerink 21 10. Joost Bosscha 20 11. Richard Koppies 19 12. Luuts Mulder 18 13. Maurin Vochteloo 17 14. Wim Kennis 16 15. Jan Velthuis 15 16. Patrick Kremer 14 17. Tristan Moor 13 18. Priscilla Wolgen 12 19. Achim Busker 11 I hope you understand it . ---------------- X means: disqualification or retired.

Vicar
Something interesting: Scunthorpe News. Quote: "The Support Class saw the Belgian father and son duo of Willy and Wim Kennis take the top two slots ahead of the North Lincolnshire pairing of Adam Oughtibridge and Andy Harrison whilst James Sarjeant was joined on the rostrum by Shane Hazleden and Cameron Hoskins in the Youth 500 Class.(...) The Support Class championship standings now see five riders within five points of each other after leading riders, Montana Jowett and Duncan Towler had a nasty crash when they met in heat 40. Jowett, who had won the previous two rounds she had entered injured her shoulder in the crash whilst Towler was shook up and had damage to his bike. With neither able to continue the class became a shootout between the holidaying Belgians, Willy Kennis and his son Wim. Father Willy won through in the final but Chris Baldwin’s fifth place was enough to see the Northamptonshire rider climb to the top of the standings whilst Scunthorpe’s Adam Oughtibridge and Barnetby Le Wold’s Andy Harrison showed good form to make it to the final.(...) Support Class: Wim Kennis 14, Willy Kennis 11, Andy Harrison 10, James Culbert 9, Chris Baldwin 9, Montana Jowett 8, Adam Oughtibridge 8, Kevin Thrift 8, Duncan Towler 7, Jeff Halford 5, Derek Holt 5, Andy Saxby 4, Adam Kenyon 4, Alex Gilroy 4, Michael Osborne 0. A Final: Willy Kennis, Wim Kennis, Adam Oughtibridge, Andy Harrison. B Final: Adam Oughtibridge, Chris Baldwin, James Culbert, Kevin Thrift.
