seanisnumber1
Anyone recommend a decent hotel that they may have stayed in last year in Copenhagen for the GP Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 2 years ago we stayed at DGI Byens which is just across from the railway station and convenient for Tivoli etc. It was reasonable, perhaps basic but clean rooms. Food in restaurant was good. However a big plus is the indoor swimming pool and 10 pin bowling in the same complex. Rooms are available for next year. Spooky
Anyone recommend a decent hotel that they may have stayed in last year in Copenhagen for the GP Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Our lot stayed at the Cabinn City which was in walking distance of Tivoli Gardens and a short Tram journey to the Stadium. It's a bit like a Travel Lodge type of hotel. A short Taxi ride from the Airport. The rooms are on the small side but it's very reasonable and we found the staff very helpful. Breakfast is included, it's a basic one but you can keep going back for more. There is a small bar and a lounge to hang around in, the rooms are too small to sit around in, only for sleeping! Towels and toiletries are provided along with a kettle and TV. Beer was around £5 a "pint" and eating out was expensive, be prepared! We used the Hardrock Cafe near the Tivoli Gardens, very reasonable and a haunt of one or two riders. The Danes are terrific people, very hospitable and the City is well worth a tour around! No, I don't work for the Danish Tourist Agency!...............
