I had the same trouble when sending a money transfer to buy my Bydgoszcz tickets. Unfortunatley the small print does say you must pay all bank charges. Hope you get it all sorted. Sandie
Hi Bruno, As Ped mentioned The City is a place alot of people go ,where there is a night club, Also alot of speedway fans drink in the Brda Hotel bar.Personally i normally start at the Brda and end up at the City. Close to your hotel in the square there is a restaurant called "Roosters" , that is definatley the place to eat. btw,now Oxford has closed i guess your now a Ipswich supporter ! I wonder why you have sggested Roosters!! Maybe it's the street entetainment or perhaps something else Your find the 50 PLN are charges made by the recieving polish bank. I didnt have any problems. I assume my money was transferred to the same bank as you but they didnt charge me at the receiving end. All mine went through!! It is really strange but maybe the bank suddenly realised there were about to be swamped and started charging Hope you can all sort it out

His version of Hotel Californika is just the best. Worth every penny to keep him there singing. he also does a good rendition of Happy Birthday

Rico
Hi Toutmaster, The key to this is when filling out the form that you agree to pay the bank charges applied at the other end as well - when I've paid money to Poland previously I've not had to worry about this, but it was something that they included in the small print of the e-mail from the club. I have every sympathy with the problems some of you have had with this and hopefully all will be resolved. Rico

Rico I don't know if toutmaster was the same as me Rico but I got in early with tickets and had an acknowledgement in Polish to take to the Bank. Neither I nor they picked up the requirement to accept all charges. In fairness after some wrangling they agreed to send the balance free of their charge. I did however insist that they ticked the box to accept all charges just in case my 40zl was "pinched" by the bank on the way through and I ended up with a nil remittance. Those booking later had the advantage of an acknowledgement that was in English and clearly showed the need to accept all charges. Don't think we have been very well treat very well at all. My Bydgoszcz tickets were reserved free of charge for me to pick up on ther Friday, as they were last year. Now that is making us welcome. Its very poor of Zielona Góra. Not happy with them at all.

As you can see by spelling and grammar I have been in training for Bydgoszcz. Roll on next thursday night in the square starting with a meal and the girls at Roosters. Rico
Due to problems with their airline unfortunately this has meant that 21 people have had to pull out of the trip. http://www.pb.pl/Default2.aspx?ArticleID=f...68-e521aeeaa6c9 - very unfortunate with the timing of this decision. If anyone else is interested, then there is now some spare capacity on the bus. Rico Edited September 5, 2008 by Rico
