We can get a Bank Transaction in 5 days for £10, which is okay, but to get it in the 3 day limit costs £30. That is pretty expensive per ticket if you only want two. Are you the drunken Finns who drink just outside the stadium then get to the City Hotel, if so we know you all well. Trev, Steve, Ped, Tony and Wobbly. Been once, not this time though... What is the problem with Credit Cards, they are used all over Poland, their speedway needs to join the real world. I think the Speedway authorities should make it a pre requisite or however you spell it, that fans be allowed to order tickets on their cards. I think it is very poor. No sooner had I spoken than 2 of my crowd have decided the day in Bydgoszcz is a better option So.....I now have 2 spare tickets for sektor D which I am happy to punt on for £50 = the pair! The cost of 2 tickets to my group would be £64 (240pln + bank charges to someone looking to buy officially) so this should offer a forum member a bargain with no bank hassle and should also get 2 of my folk some of their cash back! Nationwide asked for a reference nuber - something we would remember. so as suggested by Rico I used the order number given to me on my original ticket confirmation. I had major concerns about this mode of moving money (and about the cost!!!) but it all seems to have gone smoothly - even if it was a hassle going to the BS and trying to fill out the form!!! Just had notification in response to my email chaser for confirmation of 6 tickets for which I paid 720zl plus £25 charges that the receiving bank has only passed on 680zl and that I must forward a further 40zl to cover additional costs before they will release ticket confirmation. Rico Posted September 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 JSR, I'd suggest e-mailing the club and explaining that you'll pay the additional 40zl on pick up as it would actually cost you around 180 zl (£25 charge this end plus another 40zl at the other end), plus the 40zl charge. I ended up taking a firm stance with a hotel who wanted me to pay a small deposit for a room - and they saw the sense in my comments. Sorry a few of you are having hassle re the tickets - I was contemplating doing the stadium tickets as part of the buses, but as they didn't get released till so late in the day I decided against it. I hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction. If you don't get your message across to the club I'd suggest contacting Tommy on here by pm and I'm sure he'll try and assist where possible. We had been told that the receiving bank MAY have made a charge but it doesnt appear they did as I now have my confirmation to collect tickets. Maybe the club will accept the 40z posted to them - its not a great deal so not to much of a worry about it going missing - apart from the obvious - they dont get the money!! What a dilema - good luck In my case receiving Bank seems to have made a charge. Club will not let me pay the balance on the day. So lookks as if I have got to cough up for another tranfer. Close to your hotel in the square there is a restaurant called "Roosters" , that is definatley the place to eat. btw,now Oxford has closed i guess your now a Ipswich supporter !
