Best Gp To Go To

The best GP venues in Poland, tourist wise, Wroclaw and Chorzow have both been put on a backburner.

For me a good GP venue was Slaski Stadium at Chorzow, which was set in a pleasant park. Krakow was just down the motorway with Auschwitz musuem, Wieliczka Salt Mine and Zakopane all not too far away. Temporary track was usually bad but the have come along way since with these tracks (alledgedly).

Same it's been binned.

Wroclaw, what can you say. Brilliant city, lots to see, beautiful square with great nightlife and restaraunts. Fantastic pre-meeting atmosphere in the square.

Will we ever see a GP there again?

So I intend on heading into Europe for a GP, Bydgoszcz assuming tickets are readily available will be my destnation for two reasons.

Is the stadium near to the airport or is there more travelling to do?

It was 4 years ago when I went but if I can remember it was no hassle. Train station was at airport and there were plenty to people to tell me where to go. Not too long on the train and it went to the centre of Copenhagen which is next door to Tivoli and a brilliant First Hotel.

Looking at this and the stories i've been told it looks like i'll be heading for prague next year.

Czech Republic won't be joining the Euro until around 2012. If you avoid the really touristy places the food and drink is nice and cheap

1. It's generally the best race track, entertainment wise.

2. I've never been to Poland before.

 

 

Forget the one-off tracks - Bydgoszcz is where it's at.

And you won't be disappointed by Poland.
