I own a Godden Max upright . The motor is dated 1986 on the crankcase left side with n4 stamped also. This was obviously the number 4 engine of a rider who used this motor in 1986. Any idea who it could have been? B)

I seem to remember that around this time Shawn Moran was a Godden works rider, as was Simon Wigg at the time.

As was Hans Neilsen.

N4!!!

Thanks Steve,

A couple of 80,s riders now living in Perth have also suggested Hans Neilsen.

Bob Humphreys now over 60 yrs young sends his regards to anyone out there who knew him in the National league ( Arena Essex/Milton Keynes) He is a brilliant road racer riding a 125 gp bike these days!!!!
