Pollyanna
All it needs is for Filip Sitera to sign elsewhere and that's Wroclaw's junior options about gone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So how many teams in the Polish Elite Liga in 2008? womble53
I have just found this on a Polish Speedway site. So it would seem that Zorro has left Stal Gorzow, and signed for Gdansk for the 2008 season...................at least thats what I made of the translation (online translator ), maybe someone with a grasp of the language can comfirm I have got the right end of the stick................over to you, Mateusz Edited November 11, 2007 by womble53

Dave T <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not Mateusz, but I can confirm that as things stand - and are likely to continue standing - Gdansk are not in the top division of Polish speedway in 2008. Mama
Polonia Bydgoszcz has almost completed the line-up for next season - today Rafał Okoniewski has signed the contract ... Polonia Bydgoszcz 2008: - Andreas Jonsson - surprise (GP rider) - Jonas Davidsson - Rafał Okoniewski - Krzysztof Buczkowski - Christian Hefenbrock (at least 10 matches) - Simon Stead U-21 riders - Emil Sajfutdinow - Marcin Jędrzejewski - Michał Łopaczewski - Marcin Mazur ? Now we're waiting till the end of November for the final decission about the Unia Tarnów case - if they won't pay their debts and show the budget guarantees for next season, they'll be probably relegated from Extraliga and Polonia will take this place ... Mama
Unfortunately Krystian will probably have to leave Bydgoszcz With such number of riders in the Polonia line up there is no place for him I don't understand some decissions of Polonia chief - for Polish league Klecha is really better rider then Stead ... tommy
Also Klaus Jakobsen signed for 1st div. Rawicz. Shields goes to Leszno. As for Tarnow from what I hear they might be back in the game to try and re-sign Kolodziej, Holta, Ljung and perhaps Gollob. One of the teams main sponsoors, Zakłady Azotowe will put up the funds to save Tarnow's behind. Edited November 15, 2007 by tommy
