Kevan
Absoloutly no doubt whatsoever Nicholls blatently stuck Bomber in the fence, he even looked at him before he done it.
Old Saint
Can't really see why there was a need for run off at all. Surely they should have been decided on the "count back" system? In which case, Chris Harris would have qualified in seventh place by virtue of winning a GP.
Silver Bee
He would have found it hard as there were only 3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Alright you knew what I meant, 3rd and out the GP's
seanisnumber1
Was best when the officials didnt even know the procedures for the race off and had to have a blind pick!!
Steve Turner
worse decision iv ever seen in ten years of watching speedway <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You've gotta get out more... Ref could've called it either way, Scott did what he felt he had to and got away with it. That's speedway racing...ask Gollob, ask Nicki etc
tigerblues
It was bad enough Scott doing that but I don't see why Bomber was in a run-off in the first place he was the only one out of them that had won a GP so why did he have to PROVE himself. I'm DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> AJ's won 2 so never mind Nicholls and Holta, we'll get him in there aswell. 91 points is 91 points no matter how they're scored

sicknote
Please before I get slated I'm not critisising Scott's GP he rode better than Bomber all night, however I can't belive he got away with what he did. Never mind that Bomber would get a wildcard anyway thats not the point!

rabbit
Ref bottled it, either that or he wasn't watching. As for Nicholls, what a weasel. Love to be a fly on the wall at the conversation between the two straight after, although somehow I suspect Harris is too much of a gentleman - now if the shoe had been on the other foot... At least Harris should get a wild card for next year anyway.
Guest chris26
i have said on another forum and will again  Upto Cardiff, Harris was easily a country mile ahead of Scott and consistently outperforming his Bees colleague. HOWEVER, since Cardiff, Chris has slid down the other side of the mountain and IMO, has not been the same rider since.  And stats will back that up  After 5 Rounds: Harris (56) Nicholls (30)  Rounds 6-11: Harris (35) Nicholls (61)  that sums it up
Andrew E
Could not believe nicholls didnt get excluded for what he did. hopefully bomber should get a wild card cos he is the best brit in speedway
London Witch
I think Scott can count himself one very lucky boy not to be excluded. Extremely harsh move out of desperation. I wouldn't be very happy if I was Bomber.

hobgoblin
The GP's are individual!!! Â It doesn't matter if it was a team mate from Coventry or not! Â Besides which if Harris hadn't had such a crap GP he would not have been in that situation! Â I am happy with the result, Scott gets automically into next years GP, Harris will get a wildcard anyway! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what the **** are you on about "if bomber hadnt had such a bad gp series".........................HE WON THE BRITISH GRAND PRIX, something nicholls can only dream about

I wouldn't be very happy if I was Bomber. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â But what about Harris' move on Scott prior to that? very ala Pedersen/Hancock with a gnats whisker to spare between his back wheel and Scott's front wheel. Â But guess you will get the Nicholls fans and the Harris fans on here bickering it out!

I wouldn't be very happy if I was Bomber. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Im sure hes not LW But what changes , he seems to have major problems whenever any of his team member becomes more popular than him , as we know from his time at Ipswich. Terrible decision BTW , should have been awarded , Holta , Harris , Nicholls

Subedei
Harris should be angry with two people, neither of whom is the former British champion. He should be angry with the referee (if there actually was one) for not excluding the former British champion after shoving him off in that race-off. He should be angry with himself for the complacency that saw him throw away a secure place in the standings - all this 4-5 points nonsense cost him and cost him dearly.
