DIARY DATE - SUNDAY OCTOBER 28 at 1pm

COVENTRY Speedway are pleased to confirm that they will be staging another special end-of-season celebration meeting this year. The meeting on Sunday October 28 (1pm) will take the form of an individual event, celebrating the Buildbase Bees' Elite League title success (and maybe more!) as well as the club's Diamond Jubilee. Further details will be available in the coming days, but once again supporters will be able to bid to take part in various aspects of the meeting.

Lets hope we get to see some riders that we don't normally see - Gollob would be nice!! Auty and Roynon hopefully will get a place too. Not that interested in seeing the likes of Hamill etc again - something different please!

How can you possibly have a “King of Brandon” meeting with Lee Richardson out injured?

Surely it devalues the whole event. B)

Gollob ?! No thanks...

As for Lee...hmm, it says King not Queen

Glad it's gonna bee an individual meeting, should be good fun  B)

Who's the reigning King, is it Rory ?

Oficially it is Rory, but there was a challenge race afterwards on the old-style veterans machines in which Cliff Emms beat Rory, Martin Smolinski and Chris Harris, so therefore the title of 'King of Brandon' surely must go to Cliff? :D:D

I think they have changed the name of the meeting from King of Brandon to Diamond Jubilee Brandonapolis.(fixtures had it down as King of Brandon yesterday)

Hope that it is a good line up, no hangovers this year either (maybe)
