rhidassa
And CH wins it. Like we didnt see that coming. Tom rode very well though - the only person all night to beat CH, in an excellent race. Overall there were some excellent heats, it was a good night, all in all. (And of course, thanks for the mention, Mike. ) Though I'm not a particular Doolan fan, cant help but say nice to see the guy around - great rider, lovely guy - always smiling! Also of course Dan rode well, Millsy didnt do too bad. After his first heat Lewis Bridger looked pretty impressive. Was a shame to see Kozza come off again in the re-run of his first heat, and his second - before the stoppage he was looking good... if a bit scary. What is it with aussies and their 'never give up' attitude? Makes for some good speedway, but it also makes for some scary moments on track! Shortcrust
Shame Tomas couldn't do enough in the final tonight, top man for me though on the night with a faultless 5 rides to get to the final. He was a pleasure to watch and especially in Heat 15. Few scary moments tonight but all came through unscathed. Had to laugh about the referee moaning about the lighting on the 3rd and 4th bends tonight and demanded that some temporary lighting be installed, (no doubt due to CJ's crash last Friday night), only then to exclude Chris Schramm in Heat 4 when it was blatantly obvious it was Woodward's fault but then swiftly changed his mind to exclude Woodward. Maybe he couldn't see the incident after all with all that new lighting erected. Had a nice little convo with Chris Schramm doing the CJ collection in the interval. Think he let a bit more out of the bag than he should of but never mind. Great to see Dooley back as always, you don't realise just how much he is missed until you see him race again. Maybe he'll be back one day. Oh, and great fireworks as usual too.
daytona
once again a great nights racing with holder showing how much he loves the place by winning the final comfortably.badluck to tom with 2nd but i think holder had that bit in reserve for the final.what a great race for 3rd and 4th with dan and kev side by side for the entire 4laps.bridger unlucky not to be in the final but a last place in his opening ride proved costly.as for kozza smith tried hard but crashed 3 times in 2 races(twice in the 1 race)before pulling out didnt get to see him complete 4laps but looked out of his depth.a very chilly night with a descent crowd on hand.and the fireworks were a real treat

Tom was great and perhaps chose the wrong gate in the final but with the speed Holder had I'm not so sure that he would have held him back .............. we'll never know eh That young man is going places and I wish him all the luck in the world! Great to see Dooley back as always, you don't realise just how much he is missed until you see him race again. Maybe he'll be back one day. Not unless we go into the top league, Kev will always have a special place at Lynn, there is NO doubting that, but I'm well glad he has the ambition to push on in his career ............ good luck, keep the bucks coming in or you'll have ya father in law on ya Was surprised with one or two of the riders on the night, not so keen on the conditions I guess, not used to all the drive

Shortcrust
OK, well he asked if we were enjoying the meeting and I said yes but I wish you and Millsy would ease up a bit against each other. He then replied saying 'suppose we ought to seeings though we're going to be riding together next season.' Think my mum then said 'what at King's Lynn' to which he replied 'yes'. He then proceeded to fall off the concrete step he was on, and I told him to watch his step or he'd be taking no further part in the rest of the meeting!
