tom.hare
I believe it was announced that Boston will be riding in place of Kings Lynn now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Correct, was announced tonight. They will have Jon Armstrong, James Brundle, Carl Wilkinson and Lewis Bridger in their team. Not a bad replacement at all.
semion
So which of those 4 ride for Boston ? I know James Brundle rides the odd match for them.....In other words its another select side...
MattyHart
Jon Armstrong rode at the start of the year for them Wilko rode a lot of CL for Boston also.
Perry
What difference does it make who rides. Obviously a communication breakdown. I think that both team managers agreed regarding Kings Lynn. However the Kings Lynn promotion thought otherwise. Mildenhall have responded quickly as last night was their chance to tell the supporters the replacement riders. A lot of people would want to see Armstrong ride Mildenhall again. Brundle also very popular locally. Bridger again another that people want to see. At least we have another meeting with decent riders and the fireworks were awesome 2 years ago. Well done to Mildenhall for organising this. Who cares what the teams are called. Just another night of decent speedway
SimonB
Obviously we beleived that a deal had been agreed with Kings Lynn otherwise we would not have gone public with the line up. I apologise for this error. Still looking forward to what will still be a great afternoon of speedway action and an exciting firework display. My thanks go to Dale Allitt, Malcolm Vasey and their team for stepping in at very short notice to replace Kings Lynn in the line up. The Boston Barracudas have put together a very exciting team. Jon Armstrong, what can I say about this man, a true Mildenhall legend. James Brundle, another rider with great Mildenhall connections and of course looking to show what he can do. Carl Wilkinson, an extremely entertaining rider who likes to ride very close to the Mildenhall fence. Lewis Bridger, it will be great to see him at Mildenhall again, a great racer in his CL days at our place.

Just another night of decent speedway <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said Perry, 3 of the riders have represented Boston and who would want to miss seeing Lewis Bridger around their track. Also assume that as its now a Boston team we will see the colourful Mr Vasey as well that night We have a GP rider (Iversen), Elite League Riders (Peterboro, Lanham, Bridger) our own boys, a recent West Row legend (Armstrong) and some young riders looking to make an impression for a possible place on next years team. Thats a good line up, and with the fireworks as well the Big Bang 2 will be a fantastic end of season meeting. I would suggest that all local fans come on over to West Row for another afternoon/night of great racing.

Lets hope its the end of stupid comments on this thread, an error was made, an apology given. Lets now look forward to a fantastic meeting, with good racing and an explosive firework display to finish.

I know James Brundle rides the odd match for them.....In other words its another select side... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As has been said, James is one of their number 1 riders, the position being shared by 2 riders, both with PL commitments. Jon Armstrong was their #1 prior to this, before moving to Birmingham in the PL, then back to Buxton in the CL, this year. Carl Wilkinson its been said he rode previously for Boston, clearly before my time, and Lewis Bridger I know has taken some rides after a meeting, and has been seen down in the pits on several occasions at home Boston meetings. Damon
Ooooops! Sounds like the Big Bang was Mildenhall shooting themselves in the foot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was at Mildenhall last night and there was no one limping at all?? perhaps no one shot themselves in the foot after all....
