Rico
Ten buses of Falubaz fans that came to Bydgoszcz for the Ekstraliga race-off was more than the amount of buses going to ZG per year so maybe we could organise a trip a'la Ostrow U-21 this yr ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm perhaps, however I'm not sure I'd want to go back to Bydgoszcz on the way back, that is my slight problem. Either stay in Zielona Gora or head back to Poznan is what I'm thinking. Will have to discuss with Pan Jablonski and see what he suggests. tommy
Tommy, I only spotted this sweet sweet thing this morning. Looks like we might be in Zielona Gora twice next year (planned invasion in July very much on the cards). Just got to find a quick way to get from Bydgoszcz to Zielona Gora the day after the GP as it's not the easiest of routes. Rico <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The connection between the cities is crap...Looking at the PKP time-table there is a direct connection BYD-ZG leaving at 1:18pm and arriving in ZG at 6:03pm...have fun getting up in the morning tho! f-s-p
Speedway World Cup Qualfiying Round 2 in Ljubljana (SLO), USA will be replaced by Finland. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So that now USA will be against Slovenia, South-Africa and New-Zealand while Finns go against Germany, Latvia and Russia. Give me a break... EDIT: Just checked and I wasn't even all that far off! The good news is that this will now give the Finns a month more time to get their act together. Thats alot... f-s-p
Excuse me? Finland will be against Slovenia, Italy and Czech republic, while USA will be against Hungary, Latvia and Germany. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A lousy joke poorly presented... sorry. But I'm quite serious in saying that this switch was made so Germany has a better chance of qualifying. Not to improve the chances of the yanks as I thought at first. Regarding the topic, have you got the UEM calendar or any knowledge of it? The dates seem to be widely known but what's the source of the info... tomazpozrl
I'm not quite sure what is the source of that calendar. As far as I know there will be / was a UEM track racing comission meeting at the beginning of November (I think it will be in Togliatti ), but I haven't seen or heard anything official. That calendar was, I think, originally posted on one of the Czech website, but it's not much different to the preliminary UEM calendar announced after UEM congres in July and it's not complete, so we'll have to wait for official calendar to be announced. Feels kind of weird that websites like speedway.org and isracing.net are both listing dates as confirmed while the UEM itself hasn't made anykind of press release or update their calendar. Kevin Meynell
while the UEM itself hasn't made anykind of press release or update their calendar. Because the UEM secretariat is largely useless.
Guest Schumi
Glad it's not just me. I kept checking back thinking I must have missed something when I saw these websites with dates on from the UEM. Hopefully it'll be out soon then.
