Rob B
Lorry trailers with the fence and air fence parked in the middle, amazing how the pitch rolls under one of the grandstands.
Zetters
Lindbäck have declared Himself out of the Dollar-meeting. He will be replaced of the oldier man PK at Gelsenkirchen.

Embarrassingly, it's going to appear a lot less in such a large stadium. Clearly the prospect of seeing 'Right Said Fred' has deterred tens of thousands from going. Hazzman
Looks like Schalke are playing at the moment, wonder what the refresh rate is on the webcam. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They lost 2-0 to Karlschule (sp?). 15,000 Embarrassingly, it's going to appear a lot less in such a large stadium. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was told by a German footie fan if they tagged the event 'presented by Schalke FC', it would see a sell-out. We may hang around for the speedway as well!!!

In fairness, a few more might take a punt on the day, but has there been anything in the way of local promotion? At the few GPs I've been to, you could be in town and be completely unaware that anything was going on.

At the few GPs I've been to, you could be in town and be completely unaware that anything was going on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Obviously, there will indeed be more on the day. However, it's clearly a poor base to start from. Also, the very first thought that came into my mind was the stunning lack of (effective) local promotion at all GP's over the years. That along with the pricing of the tickets always scythes the indigenous attendance. The Prague GP in particular, is seen as an annual strange 'circus' rolling into town with it's accompanying crowd consisting of 90% non-locals. TwoMinuteWarning
Problem is that it's the wrong side of Germany for the Poles to get to easily. But it'll still be a bigger crowd than Eskilstuna, Prague, Krsko, Daugavpils, Malilla, Lonigo ....
