Nevs
21 a month? it will cost a lot more than 63 pounds nevsy. will cost nearly that for one ticket. no 'cheap' ones left on the website. and then theres the petrol / hotel etc. We'll see lol HOTEL ?? HOTEL?? thought you were on a budget!!! Look shes obviously got you under the thumb... Im trying to help you here Peter, Forget the hotel,Gordan Ward is advertising seats on his coach from Exeter, £15 a head, come back straight afterwardsBuy a cheap tent or pick one up on that excellant site freecycle, (or I will set ours up before you arrive!!!)book a couple of seats on Gornos coach-then when we get back to Exeter you can set the tent up in me back garden with your lady-hell we even own an inflatable double mattress for some obscure reason that you can borrow-no comfort spared-so thats got the travel down to £30 once you get to Exeter. Will get the wife to bring you out some sausages you can fry together over the camp fire in the morning whilst all singing "Kumbaya, my Lord"before you both head back down to tin mine country. So thats costs down a bit so far- The offers there Corny-the offers there- EDITED FOR FINANCIAL ADVICE..... Just checked Corny-£34 tickets still available-Family tickets 2 adults and two kids still available for £85-buy one of them and flog the unused tickets to local chavs that look under 16 for a fiver each-so thats £75, + £30 coach seat = £105 + petrol from cornwall to Exeter = £20--you come in under budget saving £21 a month for the next three months-all you need then is money for a burger each or a kfc bargain bucket and a couple of drinks each-so up the savings to £25 a month each and you are sorted!!!! Job done Edited March 23, 2008 by Nevs
Cornishman
I do wonder about you sometimes Nevsy lol. The £34 tickets are only available in ones, so we cant sit together lol
Guest chris26
cardiff is one big con if you ask me. £15 for a league meeting is bad enough so don't see why I should have to fork out nearly £50 just to get a half decent seat plus god knows how much either in Petrol Money/Train Travel and then food, hotel etc etc. come on IGI, move the British Grand Prix to Wembley. you know it makes sense

Can't afford the hotel anyway ,always travel there and back sameday and pay for the cheapest seat .
Guest chris26
Seats at Wembley wouldn't be any cheaper true... but Wembley is much easier for me to get to than bloody travelling nearly 400 miles

Guest chris26
Is there no club bus running from Ipswich? there probably is..... but you really think I want to go on a bus for all that length of time takes 6/7 hours, possibly 8 or even 9 if traffic is really terrible... and that's just by car - will take even longer on the bus, what with people wanting breaks to go to the loo, get a coffee etc etc so I'd rather cut out the hassle and watch in the nice warmth of my home and on my sofa Edited April 4, 2008 by chris26
em1500uk
so I'd rather cut out the hassle and watch in the nice warmth of my home and on my sofa You can't beat being at a speedway meeting though Sitting at home and seeing it on the TV isn't the same, well it isn't to me anyway. M08
I've been on the Ipswich bus, and it's fine. Have a sweepstake on the way - all adds to the fun. You can't expect everything on your doorstep Chris... we travel there, so why can't you And we done it in about 5 and a half hours with a stop or two

Guest chris26
You can't expect everything on your doorstep Chris... we travel there, so why can't you it's alright if you are loaded and can easily afford to get every year... the simple fact of the matter is, I can't! and I am not going to fork out a big sum just so I can then say "woo hoo, been there!" - anyway, it's on the TV and I don't care who says "oh but you are boring watching at home." besides, I am saving for a 2009 Witches season ticket anyway. And it's 240 miles actually might be for you... you live in a different part of Suffolk to me you twit! erm, last time my parents drove there on holiday years ago, it was at least 300 miles Edited April 5, 2008 by chris26
