(thanks in advance) 7 Entrances to the stadium and you ask the name of the pub opposite There's a Weatherspoons opposite gates 1 & 2 (by the Angel Hotel but that's not the POW)..... then there's the Irish bar on the corner towards gate 3 (behind the Holiday Inn) Next to the pit gate there is Yates I think after that am lost as normally in the Aussie Bar after that lot

Bobbin' Along
Can anyone tell me the name of the pub that is directly opposite the entrance to the stadium - trying to plan to meet up with some friends and cant remember what it is called? (thanks in advance) I think the one your'e talking about is called the City Gate or City Arms. It's by the multi-storey carpark, and is right opposite what I would call the main entrance to the stadium and the pits entrance.

Boothers
Five friendly Redcar Bears fans doing our second British GP. Last year was all a bit last minute and we bussed down on Saturday morning to Newport, dumped our bags in the smallest hotel bedrooms I have ever been in, grabbed a bite to eat at a Wetherspoons and trained into Cardiff. Visited just a couple of the local hostelries before the GP and then stood 45 minutes in the pouring rain in a queue OUTSIDE the railway station for the last train back to Newport. This year we've got it right - going Friday and stopping at the Holiday Inn. So if anyone sees 'Team Sooty Racing' please feel free to say hello! Oh, I'll be the old, grey, deaf one doing a very passable Rowley Birkin impression
Taitster
Driving down to Cardiff for the first time this year but not familiar with best car parks to use in Cardiff. Can anyone help me with the best ones to go for in terms of location to the stadium, and what sort of charge are we talking for a full day? Thanks
Iffoid
Thanks for the replies (wish I hadnt asked now LoL) The one I meant was opposite the main entrance - so am guessing it is the Gatekeeper - thanks Bobbin & SCB and Shazzy - you going to be taking us all on a tour......
