Guest Panther22
Have to take my hat off and say well done to Scott tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't possibly go that far as that .. saying well done to Nicki has been painful enoough
KrisB
Millard up to his normal tricks mucking every comment up he makes <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The most important race of the entire GP year and Millard completely screws up by saying "Pedersen (Nicki) is stuck at the back" as the riders enter the first bend, yes you've guessed it, with Nicki a mile ahead of the field. MILLARD MUST GO
SCB
Not the greatest of GP's. Few things I picked up on. Millard gets worse. Nicki is last but no, he's winning. Harris is comfortably through but no, he's not! Harris going after Nicki in the last heat and letting Gollob passed, Doh! Chris will have to learn that sometimes, a sensible second is best, Scott knew that tonight and reaped the rewards. Bjarne, what a line on the last bend of his semi, threw it away after Holta had tried to hand it to him the lap before and thanks to him I'm out fo the forum GP game. Damn! Sandie
Already used the Nicky World Champ thread to say my bit on him so this post is to say; Well done to Scott Nicholls tonight. Beaten only by the world Champion must count for something. One place higher on the 13th october and a few quid richer - how cool would that be. Poor old Chris seems to be tailing off. Im sure he has secured his place for next year but it would be good to see him come good on the 13th as well.
colincooke
Firstly, well done to Nicki.A truly deserving Champion & that Heat 11 showed just why. Scott was superb tonight & for once showed a few guys who's the boss. Things are still pretty hot for the final place with Rune being on it as well tonight. Bomber & Greg can't say thye're safe yet & Chris you really do need a bit more than those5pts. There we're a few interesting comments tonight, firstly from Scotty when he said the track wasn't much different from the practice.Could it be that Mr Olsen is finally listening to the riders? Secondly, from Kelvin Tatum when he said, full credit to Scott nobody has given him anything.Quite right too, them damned Poles are always helping each other out & everyone knows it. Also heard Leigh say he'd have to consult the family before deciding whether to carry on next season. Paulco
Pretty crap GP . Olsen mucks up another track - if you weren't in red or blue you might have well just stayed in the pits . Poor ride by Crump in the final - guess who i had money on Edited September 22, 2007 by Paulco

MILLARD MUST GO <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Millard was classic tonight. He managed to get Matej Zagar, 5 times Slovenian champion and the track record holder in within 30 seconds of his commentary Although the best was when Pedersen made a blinding start from 2 as Millard calls him in last place. Oh no he isn't shouts Tatum at his brain dead, allegedly, co-commentator ;D

SCB
Speedway Star says Matej is track record holder, as did Millard tonight but I'm sure it was broke in last years GP, by Adams, I think. Can someone confirm?

Can someone confirm? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought TR broke it in the 2005 GP. What was the point in having the outside starting gates on the track tonight - they seemed to serve no purpose, except for when the guys on the inside made a mess of things? Mad Mitch
Did anyone notice this gem " now all the riders have had one race each" this after heat 8 ?
Steve Turner
Matej set the track record in June last year. Rickardsson hasn't ridden there since that date, so... It's Zagar

posh panther
I realy cant get my head round the fact that someone of Hans' class who i see caning everyone week in week out in the elite league can be so bad in the G.P..o.k so even if his set up was wrong it still dont disguise the fact that his body language is all wrong and so different to what we usualy see..you would think that its a totally different rider with Hans' helmet and kevlars on!!! anyway well done Niki..no one can say you dont deserve it
Subedei
Andersen's form in Sweden and especially Poland has been indifferent for a while now - stronger leagues are finding him out, although he still cuts the mustard in the BEL. I'd say he's on the wrong engines, rather like Zagar: if you're on Jawa you're getting toasted in the GPs.
