Brummie Kev
Should be a good meeting, with the "stars of tommorow " on display at Perry Barr. With Lee Smart and Ben Powell taking part there should a decent crowd for a junior event. This might be helped due to the fact that a new signing will be announced on the same night. Great to see Luke making his comeback Line up 1. Lee Smart 2. Ben Powell 3. Scott James 4. Kyle Hughes 5. Martin Emerson 6. Scott Richardson 7. Adam McKinna 8. Ben Taylor 9. Matthew Wright 10. Arlo Bugeja 11. Karl mason 12 Jack Roberts 13. Luke Priest Edited September 11, 2007 by Brummie Kev

Brummie Kev
Just got back, decent meeting tonight not the best but some good young talent on show. Lee Smart was excellent tonight as i expected and deserved his win. The first six heats were average, very little passing, but as the meeting wore on it got better. The heat of the night was heat 8 Matthew Wright led Smarty for most of the race, but smarty shoved wright wide on the second bend to gain first. I must admit Matthew Wright impressed my alot, i think he would do a good job in the PL. Ben Taylor and Arlo Bugeja also did well. But for me rider of the night was Luke priest, did very well, it would have been great if he would have won it considering his injuries. The crowd was okay tonight, certainly the lowest of the season. But thats expected a junior meeting on a big football night for england. The straight was quite well populated , but where i was on the first second bend it was average. Still worth the £10 admission tonight Edited September 12, 2007 by Brummie Kev

First time at the track and i must say i like what i saw. it was a little like sheffield but my opinion of it was it was better because i didnt feel clostraphobic (sp?) there. Its a tidy track well done to the Brummies. Wasnt one of the best meetings ive seen but like i said we was only there for 1 reason and im glad we went. We Will be back next week when Stoke are there ill be the only workington fan there lol.

vog
Any information on this rider please? Not heard of him before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rode for Redcar earlier on in the season, got about a 2 point average, but didn't ride enough meetings to get a new average,so would have to come in on a 5 again. Tipsy_McStagger
Arlo Bugeja was programmed to ride for Birmingham at Workington on Saturday but was replaced by Scott James? Showing my and other Brummies fans ignorance I’m afraid, but no one had heard of him however he didn’t look too far of the pace who ever he is?
