neil3065
For me, there should be some rule that prevents riders doubling up with PL clubs AND being over a certain average at a cut off date, from entering this. Quite honestly, Tai being in the field makes it a huge mis-match!!!
June
Maybe once a rider doubles up he should forfeit this competion, and leave it strictly to conference only riders. So much unfairness to the present set up. I think the top 3 will come from the PL lads with tai first(with home track advantage)

Seeing the form he was in last night at Plymouth and in recent weeks, I too reckon Buzz has a good chance of a rostrum position tonight. Have to put that this meeting is being sponsored (at the track not on here) by www.hireacanalboat.co.uk Ellis Perks has just had a few laps and heat 1 should start in a few mins. Heat 1 All over after the first bend Heat 2 Halsey fell on 2nd lap and is excluded, bit of argy bargy between Mear and Halsey during the race. Heat 2 Mear went round Warwick 2nd bend. Heat 3 Good battle for 3rd with Smethills and Brown Heat 4 Smart last to 2nd on 2nd lap but couldn't catch Evans Heat 5 Hard 1st bend with Bargh being sent wide. Heat 6 Herne very hard on Mear on back straight with Mear hitting the fence after Herne left him no room. Heat 8 Evans fell on 1st bend but ref let race go on, Woffinden by half a lap, only way he is going to be beat is if he has an engine failure! Heat 9 Auty last to 2nd on third lap, good race. Heat 12 Burrows hit the fence hard on 3rd bend but is now up, he is excluded from the re-run Ellis Perks going around again although he took a nasty tumble on 2nd bend Heat 13 Auty passed Taylor going into the 3rd bend Heat 14 Good race, all riders were very close, Halsey nearly got 3rd but bike probs just before the line Heat 15 From the gate Heat 17 Good race for 2nd Heat 18 Bargh fell on 3rd bend and is excluded from the re-run Heat 19 Lambert was 2nd until the 2nd lap when Burrows passed him, Brown took 3rd on last lap Heat 20 From the gate Edited September 15, 2007 by crazysue
Shadders
Heat 12 Burrows hit the fence hard on 3rd bend but is now up, he is excluded from the re-run <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He actually went under the fence and got up unscathed. Most other fences and he could have been seriously injured after hitting it at that speed. As it was he got back on his bike and rode side saddle back to the pits, after putting out the flames, as his hand was on fire

Robyn1972
Pleased for Tai - although not really much of a surprise he was clearly delighted with the win. Absolutely over the moon for Robert though. A definate talent for the future in my view - and I also am of the opinion that he'll be in the PL next year - I would imagine one of the Rockets reserve berths already has his name on it!
