MattyHart
Lindgren and Iversen have both been out injured for a few weeks and are not riding for there clubs this week, will both be fit for saturday? Kasprazak as pulled out of the lakesides craven shield fixture due to concussion from a crash in poland practising - would this rule him out due to riders not being able to ride for 7 days due to concussion? If Lindgren isn't fit to take is place im sure he will get a wild card into next years GP!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure come hell or high water the two riders will ride, its only a GP place at stake. tommy
Lindgren rode in Sweden yesterday and will race on Saturday (unless there is a drastic change in his health). Iversen on the other hand did one meeting in Poland on a slick track (which didn't aggravate his ankle) in Bydgoszcz and did really well. NKI decided to take the week off to make sure his injury heals and will also be riding on Saturday.
CMV06
Why aren't Sky showing this meeting, surely it will be more entertaining and have more significance than ELRC or the SWC qualifiers seeing as though the GP's seem tobe their 'be all and end all'. Bagpuss
A bloody good question! Have the 1996 GP challenge from Prague (?) on video somewhere and what an awesome meeting that was, great speedway in more or less every heat. Doesn't get much more cut-throat than a GP Challenge. Sandie
Kyle Legault for the 2008 GPs <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kyle it wold appear has a lot of supporters going out for this!! Rooboy's getting on, M8! Must be well over 23 by now! Be great to see a Darwin boy in the GP's! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My heart says Yes BFD but my head says it will be a cluster of Danes. All the same I will be there to cheer him on. S*ds law says he'll be 4th!! Very sad not to have any British involvement but it does leave me clear to take my Aussie flag and wave it high. bazaar3
Depending on his fitness I would say Lindgren will win this but unsure on the rest but I would guess; 1 Lindgren 2 Pedersen 3 Kasprzak 4 Bjerre

smiles
We have got them all on Video/DVD (except the one at Poole, anybody know where i can by this) and i think there is only 1 or 2 bad meeting. Even went to Italy in 99 and that was a great meeting to watch.
iris123
Practice has been cancelled(again! after the SWC),so that will probably play into the hands of the Danes. I will hope for K.Bjerre Niels Kasprzak But i think despite all the stuff from Poole fans that Bjarne isn't interested in the GPs, that he will knock one of those out of the qualifying positions
Nikko
Practice has been cancelled(again! after the SWC),so that will probably play into the hands of the Danes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Olsen makes sure the Danes have the big advantage again. OK he was a riding legend but somethings the things that go on with these GP, SWC meetings etc is a joke. What chance have the lads got that have never ridden Vojens ?? Its pathetic

Don't think I#ve ever thought Bjarne not interested...if anything his lack of performance in this year's series has been an enigma to him. It's nothing to do with not wanting to be there. Don't think he'd have bothered with the qualifiers in the first place if that was the case...
