tigerblues
Hope Bomber and Scott both have a good round, Scott needs to keep scoring just to make sure he's in that top 8 come the end of the season and Bomber I just want to have a good round because his form seems to have slipped a bit lately although in fairness the tracks haven't suited him as much in the last few GPs (seem to be very slick whereas he could do what he wanted and pass anybody on Cardiff). Gollob, shock horror, will have a good round but I think this time he'll come 2nd best to Leigh Adams. Nicki 3rd and then possibly someone such as Jagus as being Polish, he probably knows this track well (correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he finish 3rd here last season as the wildcard?). Hope it's a better meeting than the last few rounds though, need some proper racing but Bydgoszcz springs to mind as normally producing that. I generally agree with a small difference tho' - Gollob 1st, Adams 2nd. Why? Adams always rides fair and leaves some space (unlike the guy who won last yr ) and all things (I mean bikes..) being well Gollob, as the master of outside at Bydgoszcz, should make good use of this few inches by the fence Jagus finished 4th last yr. He's from Torun but has always liked Bydgoszcz track so may reach the final this time as well. I predict Gollob, Jagus, Pedersen and Adams too but to make everyone buying drinks everyone Harris and Nicholls instead of NP and LA would be a better option Edited August 29, 2007 by Mateusz
Lawrence
I predict Gollob, Jagus, Pedersen and Adams too but to make everyone buying drinks everyone Harris and Nicholls instead of NP and LA would be a better option <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, seriously I don`t see Jagus in The Big Final. He is able to reach semifinal and if he would get through it would be great 4 him and for Polish fans. DOn`t forget about Jarek Hampel and Rune Holta. Holta took his first POlish Champion title in 2003 with maximum, and he was SGP finalist in 2004. I think all Poles are able to rech semis [regular riders], and 2 of them should reach the big final. But SGP is hard and I predict Gollob, Nicki, Leigh and someone of quartet Jarek Hampel, Wieslaw Jagus, Jason Crump and AJ. AJ also knows Bydgoszcz track well, and he will prove it in a front of home fans. Looks that it will be a fantastic night as usually in Bydgoszcz
sEdgY2
Gollob 1st 22 points Adams 2nd 21 points Jonsson 3rd 17 points Crump 4th 14 points semi final exits Jagus Holta Andersen Kaparzak Nicki not to make the semis because i hope he dosent!!!!!!!!!!!!! only 7 points for nicki! Yes he does ride for Rybnik but they are in the next league below Bydgoszcz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Edited August 30, 2007 by sEdgY2

Nicki to all but sew up a well deserved championship at the best speedway venue in the World. Not able to go this year though.

sjw ministerofport
Bomber looked the fastest rider at Wroclaw and so I can't see why his engines would not be fast enough. Bydgoszcz should be a cracker of a meeting so long as it isn't slick. Final in any order, AJ, Bomber, Nikki, Crump.

tone deaf
Can't wait to get there. Not taking the easy route direct to Bydgoszcz airport, flying into Gdansk Friday & out of Poznan Sunday. Staying at the Brda, same as 2 years ago, when we had a fantastic time. The Polish fans are out of this world & to see Gollob win was just perfect. Hopefully he can do it again this year, assuming the Brits won't manage it. Hopefully catch a few people in the Brda bar on Friday.

You're not the only one going this route Are you going to Poznan by the train leaving at 10:17 on Sunday morning ? If so, we may collect nearly a full compartment of speedway fans Edited September 5, 2007 by Mateusz

If so, we may collect nearly a full compartment of speedway fans <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was looking at the timetable yesterday & thats the one I thought we'd need to get. I'm assuming we can just get tickets at Bydgoszcz station Sunday morning? My last experience of Polish trains (Warsaw to Bydgoscz 2005) was very overcrowded & smokey but they were on time & we got seats, unlike many British trains I've been on the last few years. Hopefully see you there then.
Mateusz
Well, if you take off from Poznan by RyanAir at 15:55 it's probably the only reasonable train you can go. The next one arrives in Poznan about 15:00 and that's too late. Of course you can buy the ticket at the station on Sunday, just get there those 20 minutes earlier at the latest. I'm going by this one too, as I said there ain't much choice, but fortunately it shouldn't be too crowded on Sunday morning. Anyway, see you there unless earlier at Brda etc.

Going to be a long weekend, our flight to Gdansk on Friday is at 6.10am & hope to be in the bar at Brda drinking until late so hopefully will manage to keep going!
