Liverstam
Will be interesting to see how the youngsters get on.Will the EL boys dominate or will one of the others like Jonasson or maybe even Gustafsson win. Will be following Forsberg,Gustafsson and Dennis Andersson's scores closely. And what about the almost forgotten young star,Andreas Messing? Will he be on the rostrum.Has his progress slowed to an almost standstill? And when is the 80cc final.I see it is on the link, but no-one has mentioned it.Some of are interested in the 80cc guys as well Hopefully,if the weather is ok,i will be at the Danish 80cc final on sunday <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gustafsson will certainly have the backing at his home track and is in my view on par with Jonasson and Forsberg as a rider, although the latter is seemingly in the form of his life! f-s-p
Like the first score's show, Simon G is doing well and is one of the favourites in my opinion. Not that he'd be good in other tracks too, but this is the place where he's the next from GOD. Thats his dad!
Liverstam
Billy Forsberg apparently took a spill in heat 7 and was excluded, he is now being replaced by Jonas Messing in heat 10. Hope it's not too bad Billy Edit: Seems Billy has withdrawn from the meeting altogether. Shame! Edited August 31, 2007 by Liverstam
f-s-p
Robert Petterson... He was completely lost at Seinäjoki earlier this season. All the best for him!
Liverstam
Robert Petterson... He was completely lost at Seinäjoki earlier this season. All the best for him! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Robban can sometimes be this damn good. It doesn't happen regularly...but when it does he's awesome. Hope he keeps it up! Hope he keeps it up! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've heard the story of where he's come to this point. Like I said, all the best for him. EDIT: I'd be surprised if he beats Simon in a run-off EDIT2: Oops, this is a UK style semi/final style thingie... EDIT3: Raining and delayed/postponed? Liverstam
The final: 1. Robert Pettersson 2. Andreas Messing 3. Ricky Kling 4. Simon Gustafsson (F/E) Robban is champion Edited August 31, 2007 by Liverstam
Anders
Billy Forsberg apparently took a spill in heat 7 and was excluded, he is now being replaced by Jonas Messing in heat 10. Hope it's not too bad Billy Edit: Seems Billy has withdrawn from the meeting altogether. Shame! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, Forsberg picked up some grip on the first/second bend and went into Thomas H Jonasson's back wheel and they both went down heavily. Billy withdrew straight away but Jonasson tried for a couple of more heats but had to withdrew as well, after his third ride, due to headache. Hopefully he will feel fine to race today. BTW, CONTRATULATIONS TO ROBBAN PETTERSSON! A well deserved win, he was the best on the night. And when is the 80cc final.I see it is on the link, but no-one has mentioned it.Some of are interested in the 80cc guys as well Hopefully,if the weather is ok,i will be at the Danish 80cc final on sunday <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Youth Final 80cc is at 1200 local time on Saturday, just two hours away. The weather in Hallsberg (where I'm staying at the excellent Hotell Stinsen) is great; sunshine and blue sky. FIM champion Anders Mellgren will definitely be hard to beat at his home track, but overall the meeting is wide open with at least 10 riders capable of taking a place on the rostrum. David Nilsen of MasarnaAvesta have a good draw (two inside gates) and could be a surprise package.

Mateusz
Does anyone of our Swedish friends have any info about Lindgren? He crashed with Zorro at the finish line of heat 21 and then was taken by ambulance to the pits / hospital (?). Any updates? I wanna find out if there's any chance he won't ride tomorrow against Bydgoszcz.

Im very surprised if He rides even on tuesday at Sweden.
Pollyanna
The final on Friday night is the Swedish Junior Championship Final. The final on Saturday afternoon is the Swedish Championship Final (regardless of age). They have, alongside Thomas H Jonasson, qualified for both finals. Nothing strange, just as Kennett, Bridger, King etc. rode in the British Final at Monmore Green despite being juniors (as well as they rode in the Junior Final in Eastbourne). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks Liverstam and Anders. Anders
This event is so watered down it's unbelievable. No one really seems to care who wins, least of all the riders! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Stefan Ekberg apparently rode for Rye House instead of the Swedish Final. The Youth Final 80cc is at 1200 local time on Saturday, just two hours away.... David Nilsen of MasarnaAvesta have a good draw (two inside gates) and could be a surprise package. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry David, but that was one powerful jinx. (David fell in his first ride and aggrivated and old injury and had to withdraw. Reserve Linus Lydin of Rospiggarna stepped in at his place and scored 10 points to finish fourth overall! Not bad as he started the meeting at reserve, just shows that being a reserve can take you places sometimes, even though it's on somebody's expense.)
