Mateusz
Both teams you have riders from (Leszno and Wibrator) will get through. I cheer for Rzeszow (despite NP ) as it will be a huge surprise if they beat Wroclaw. The match should be an absolute cracker, Rzeszow haven't lost at their home track so far although most results were between 50-40... Hazzman
Is Rzeszow track any good? It seems to me that Polsat have a liking for it and some reports I heard of meeting on there are positive.

Ghostwalker
Very good, the biggest track in Ekstraliga. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How big is it then? 400m?? and how high is the spectator capacity?
Lezaw
How big is it then? 400m?? and how high is the spectator capacity? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 395 m, with a poor spectator capacity (12 000).

Rzeszow - Wroclaw I mean. Torun will rule out Tarnow fro Play Off`s easily - they will control result from Tarnow [51-41], the same for Leszno will surely get throug after 48-45 win at Czestochowa. But Rzeszow... i think it will be dramatic match. In reglar season Rzeszow won 47-46 after their 4-2 win in last heat decider. See it below: Atlas Wrocław 46 1. Hans N. Andersen (2,2,2*,2*,2) 10+2 2. Tomasz Gapiński (0,1*,3,1,0) 5+1 3. Tomasz Jędrzejak (1*,1,0,0) 2+1 4. Kenneth Bjerre (2,3,2,1,2) 10 5. Jason Crump (3,3,2*,d,d) 8+1 6. Chris Holder (3,1,1,3,3) 11 7. Piotr Korbel 0 (0) Marma Polskie Folie Rzeszów 47 9. Nicki Pedersen (3,2,3,6!,3,3) 20 10. Maciej Kuciapa (1,0,1) 2 11. Rafał Dobrucki (3,0,0,1) 4 12. Scott Nicholls (0,3,1,1,2*,1) 8+1 13. Davey Watt (2,2,1,2*,3) 10+1 14. Marcin Leś (2,0,u,0,) 2 15. Dawid Lampart (1*,0) 1+1 Heat by Heat: 1. Holder, Leś, Lampart, Korbel 3:3 2. Pedersen, Andersen, Kuciapa, Gapiński 4:2 (7:5) 3. Pedersen, Watt, Gapiński, Jędrzejak 8:1 (33:36) 12. Holder, Andersen, Dobrucki, Lampart 1:5 (34:41) 13. Pedersen, Nicholls, Bjerre, Crump D4 5:1 (39:42) 14. Watt, Andersen, Kuciapa, Gapiński 4:2 (43:44) 15. Pedersen, Bjerre, Nicholls, Crump D4 4:2 (47:46) SO, I hope it will be very interesting match, and am sure that it can`t be so easy for Rzeszow take at least 6 point victory and get through. Wroclaw is motivated to defend their title, and they are very good in away matches. Hope to watch great meeting.
Lezaw
Last time Rzeszow was lucky as Jason had his knee injured (Scottie "helped" him with this a little, to be frank) during that match. Till that moment Wrocław was ahead with approximately 10 pts. This time - no surprises. Wrocław to win!

Lezaw
And have just realised it's gonna be Gollob's last match representing Tarnow <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I doubt it. Next season Biocol is going to financially support Tarnow and this is Gollob's main sponsor. Hoping for Tomasz's return to B-cz? Am I guessing well? Well B-cz will have to stay at Ekstraliga first, beating Zielona Gora, right?
Mateusz
From my sources I know Gollob's done with Tarnow. As for beating ZG, don't worry. And even if we don't, somehow , we'll buy that wild card and stay up anyway
Lezaw
There is no wild cards. Please read last week TŻ - interview with Andrzej Grodzki. Next season 8 teams and no wild cards to buy. No chances to change rules during the game. Only chance to get so called wild card is if one of 8 teams will not be able to stay on top and withdraw. Then 1 team will be able to get into Ekstraliga after buying wild card.

I follow news on SportoweFakty.pl etc. and according to what you wrote I must have missed something - can't believe. Did he say it was a definite decision? Or just what he thinks. Mateusz
No sh!t. Why was it mentioned in that interview only? "Speedway Ekstraliga" have accepted the rules of the wild card system. It's just the first step and they are still not fully independent being under PZM but what Grodzki said in an interview doesn't solve the whole case and doesn't decide about anything. Lezaw
Mateusz, here is that part of an interview. Somebody did retype it and I just cut and paste it here. Sorry for a bit of Polish here. - Ile druzyn bedzie liczyła Ekstraliga w sezonie 2008? - Skad to pytanie, to chyba oczywiste, ze osiem. - Niedawno zapadły decyzje w sprawie dzikich kart. - I jaka decyzje podejmie PZM? So there is no wild cards for every club in every case of willing.
tommy
I think I'll just wait 'till november/december...this bloody league and PZM is such a mess there is no point reading into what these w.nkers tell us now as everything could change tomorrow. Mateusz
Have just read on Sportowefakty.pl that HA had a serious concussion and is advised to take a few days off indeed. Liverstam
I might be wrong here but isn't this the third meeting between the Liga 1 clubs? What's this, best out of three? I thought it was contested over two legs? Can anyone clear my confusion?
