bartosch
Simon Stead replaces David Howe for Sunday's final. It's a big surprise for me... Simon was only reserved in a Rybnik semi-final he scored 3 points (1,2,0,0) then. What about Lee Richardson he's better than Simon? regards! bart
tomhaines
I reckon the qualifiers will be 3. Bjarne Pedersen DK 5. Charlie Gjedde DK 8. Piotr Protasiewicz PL 9. Lukas Dryml CZ 10. Tomas Topinka CZ 12. Peter Karlsson SE With Billy Janniro then qualifying along with Jesper Jensen as IMO Protasiewicz and Dryml will make the GP top

This week he has broken the track record at Workington on Saturday and then scored 12+1 for Wolves against Eastbourne on Monday. He thoroughly deserves his chance. rabbit
I heard somewhere that David Howe was going to make an early decision on whether he rode or not which meant that another British rider could come in and take his place. If he had dropped out closer to the day then the next in line from the qualifiers would have come in. Seemed strange to me when I heard it but with Stead in, it's obviously true. Good to have another British rider in, but if I was Zagar of Kylmakorpi I'd be more than a little bit miffed not to get the place.
Midnight_Lady
Wishing Theo all the best for Sunday but I don't see him making any impression in the meeting considering the exalted company he is in. However what can never be taken away from him is that he has done very well to get to this stage considering he is a reserve/second string in the PL
bartosch
ok It's time to go to England, I expect I'll see interesting competition on Sunday in Poole, see ya!
Hackett
At £18 for a ticket and in the region of £5 for a programme. Think I will give it a wide berth especially with only 1 Brit .....
rabbit
I've just seen that the Poole site will be running Live Updates from this for anyone that can't get there and wanted to follow the meeting. Practice is on the Saturday morning from 9.30 and is open to the public - it's usually worth a look and the Poole track never usually changes much between practice and the meeting - it's always slick! Working Star
According to the preview in today Lynn News Programmes are £2.50. That IMO is a reasonable price. If they are £5 I shall not bother buying one.
britneyspears
Im quite looking forward to this one, I went to the challenge (as it was more appropriately called back then) in slovenia and the atmosphere was electric. Am hoping Steady and Billy J do well. Wont be worrying about the price of programmes though, Poole sell Jack Daniels at half price so ill probably be in no fit state (hopefully)

sandman
Who is Jack Daniels, and why is Poole selling him for half price? Why will BritneySpears not be in a fit state? Is this like the old persecution of Bill Posters, who was always gonna be prosecuted? I say... Free Jack Daniels!!! And.. I say if Middlo has some influence of Mr. Daniels, he has to be good.. Nothing less than full price! 8) Personally, I heard George Dickles is cheaper and just as good, but what do I know... Except,.. George Dickles is a bit .. um.. aged... rabbit
Jack Daniels - new BLC squad signing for Poole I heard... Went along to practice this morning, surprised at how many riders weren't there but then they can't complain if they do nowt tomorrow! We had plenty of rain last night so the track looked quite good and the riders were trying quite a few lines. Lukas as expected looked good as did PK. Think Jesper B might have a good one - Bob was quite fast. Lukas was spending a lot of time with Ales when he was practising so Ales could be in with a chance for a top 6 place if Lukas gives him all the right hints! Finally if Simon Stead rides at Worky tonight then someone somewhere needs shooting! :? I figure he must have ridden at Somerset last night, but he was there this morning with only one very dirty bike - did about a dozen laps and then left, I'm assuming back up to ride tonight before coming back down again here tomorrow. The kid has been given a chance to compete in the biggest meeting of the year outside the GPs and he isn't able to prepare properly. No wonder our youngsters find it tough to progress if this is what they have to go through before big meetings!
