Haywood
Totally Agree. There is no reason why he should miss out on his Testimonial. Cheers Haywood

The moment Buzz won his final ride to win the Laurels will always stay with me as one of my absolute favourite ever sporting moments.... The testimonial..?? Well, the obvious locations are Redcar and I agree, Scunthorpe would be good. Or of course Stoke... As I've recently posted on another thread I've still got 800 or so of the Testimonial brochures from the thrice rained off 2004 meeting..!!!! Trackman
They wouldn't be many people in Speedwy that have not heard of, or seen Buzz race... Regards. PS. Hope you get the "Thanks" you deserve for your effort & years dedicated to our Sport... MARK BURROWS: 43-year old ‘Buzz’ Burrows is signed as the team’s rider/coach to lend experience to a team primarily made up of novices and juniors. Sheffield-based, he actually began his career in the early eighties and actually rode in a few second halves at Middlesbrough’s Cleveland Park. It was Scunthorpe who gave him his first break. He then joined Edinburgh in 1986 before a recommendation from Martin Dixon saw him join us at Middlesbrough in 1987 where he appeared in 23 matches for a four point plus average. After a retirement of four and a half years returned in 1995 and rode for Long Eaton and Buxton. Buzz rode for the Stoke Potters in the premier league from 1997 - 2002 averaging up to 7 points and has appeared in over 50 Elite outings including Belle Vue, Coventry Wolverhampton and Eastbourne. Dropped to Conference level in 2003 for Wimbledon and became a "legend of the Plough Lane circuit" One thing is for certain, life is never dull with ‘Buzz’ in your side!
