A Great meeting. Smederna had the advantage after 10 hetas with a 6p lead until the referee excluded Kasprzak for loosing his Dirt deflector about a minute before the start of the 10th heat. The Referee excluded kaspar some 5-6 minutes after the heat. and a 6p lead became a 2p lead.

in Heat 11 Linus Eklöf and Morten risgaer screwed up a 5-1 lead in the first corner to a 1-5 heat lost.

Smederna never managed to repell after this and evetually lost with 10p.

Despite 16p (6 heat) from Nicki i think that Schlein was the King this evening:

Rorys score againt Nicki and Nicholls:

heat 3, Easy win from Schlein over Nicki P = 1-0 Schlein

heat 6 Schlein well ahead of Nicholls = 1-0 Schlein

heat 8 Schlein AND miskowiak scores

a safe 5-1 against Nicholls and A Shields. = 2-0 Schlein

heat 16: Nicki wins easily Schleins passes

Nicholl on the finish line =1-1 Schlein Nicki and 3-0 Schlein-Nicholls.

Think Buczkowski scored 3, Gw, or the scores don't add up. Final score 43-53 with Hammarby winning 113-67 on aggregate. I'd say Nicki wasn't trying his hardest, as the bonus was in the bag.

My aggregate scores (from the link in my siggy):

Elit Vetlanda (104) – MasarnaAvesta (88)

Kaparna (83) – Indianerna (108)

Piraterna (97) – Dackarna (95)

Smederna (67) – Hammarby (113)

Vastervik (108) - Rospiggarna (84)

sorry its should be 3p for Robert Miskowiak.

forgot to say apparently no Zagar for kaparna. Zagar scored 11+1 last night but for some reason kaparna used R/R for him. Maybe its the "serious head injury again" or "missed flight".

Schumi about Nicki its an bit early to try to "safe ride" in heat 3? what would people sayf they had lost because of that?

Hammarby are fighting for a good place in the playoffs and to finish second after the 18th round is very important since you are direct qualified for the semis then.

yes the bonus point was safe but not the victory in the meeting which would be more importand then a bonus point.

And i dont think Nicki when in the lead as he was in heat 3 when he lost to

Schlein would give less throttle jsut to let Schlein pass?

I alwaus thought that Nicki when in the lead would give 100% to stay ahead?

And would you consider Nicholls to ride safe aswell?

Nicki wasnt really sharp last week either and as a result Hammarby lost and missed 2 vital points in the fight for the top spots of the table.

True. Nicki currently not at his best in Sweden. What really cost us today though, I'm sad to say, was Adam Shields below par performances. It was a great night of racing though!

Can someone tell me where the Kaparna match was raced?

Nice to see that they actually won a match AND got a decent crowd!

Thanks

ELIT VETLANDA - MASARNAAVESTA 59-37 (104-88)

Attendence: 3606

Elit Vetlanda took a comfortable win against MasarnaAvesta in a meeting that perhaps wasn't the best of the year in Vetlanda, but provided some good heats anyway. The exceptional Russian talant Emil Saifutdinov got stuck in most of the action on the night but the away side lacked top end fire power (Leigh Adams) to trouble last years champions Elit Vetlanda on Tuesday night.

Elit Vetlanda (home) 59 (104)

1. Jason Crump 2*-2*-3-1-2* = 10+3 (5)

2. Peter Ljung 3-0-3-1-2* = 9+1 (5)

3. Lee Richardson 3-2-2*-Ef-3 = 10+1 (5)

4. Tomasz Jedrzejak 1-M-3-1 = 5 (4)

5. Rune Holta 3-3-3-3-3 = 15 (5)

6. Thomas H Jonasson 3-0-3-0-3 = 9 (5)

7. Robin Aspegren 0-N-0-1 = 1 (3)

8. Niklas Larsson

MasarnaAvesta (away) 37 (88)

1. Antonio Lindbäck 0-3-2-1*-3-1 = 10+1 (6)

2. Ales Dryml 1-1-N-0-0 = 2 (4)

3. Simon Stead 0-1-N-N = 1 (2)

4. Emil Saifutdinov 2-1*-Ef-1*-2*-1 = 7+3 (6)

5. Dave Watt 2-1-2-2-2-0 = 9 (6)

6. Linus Sundström 1*-N-N-0 = 1+1 (2)

7. Steve Johnston 2-1*-2-0-2-0 = 7+1 (6)

8. Dennis Andersson

For Elit Vetlanda,

Crump did what could be expected, although beaten by Watt once. Brings the points as well as good leadership quality. Ljung was up and down but has made a reasonable comeback from injury and is getting better for each heat. Richardson was good as a third heat leader, blew an engine while third (on a 1-5 against) in heat 13. Jedrzejak usually has one good heat/win per meeting, this one wasn't an exception. Holta, well, untouchable is the only word I can think of. Jonasson has had a slump for a period due to slow machinery and bad gates but is looking to be on his way back, was in contention even when he didn't score. Aspegren had a paid win in his third ride but locked up on lap two to slip to third, but I'm happy he did score a point and contributed to the victory.

For MasarnaAvesta,

Lindbäck had one of his better meetings in Vetlanda, though not on par with GP colleagues Crump and Holta. Dryml improved as the meeting went along despite what the score says, but I had expected more from the former Vetlanda rider. Stead lost his engine somewhere between London, Copenhagen and Linköping and he couldn't do himself justice on whatever bike/engine he rode on. Saifutdinov fought well and deserved what he got, always mixing it with the home riders, what a 17 year old! Watt had a good meeting despite being winless in six rides, the fastest one of the away riders. Sundström had 1-1 against Aspegren so did his job. Johnston didn't gate particulary well but shipped in with some points.

Man of the match: Rune Holta

Most exciting rider: Emil Saifutdinov
