I have read alot of threads on here regarding the Danish, Polish and Swedish leagues and needless to say i haven't got a clue about how they are doing and how their season is run. Can someone give me a quick run-down of the season up to now and how they are shaping up to finish?

Cheers,

Stephen

Sweden:

Elit league current standings:

1. Västervik 31p

2. Hammarby, Stockholm 27p

3. Dackarna, Målilla 26p

4. Masarna 23p

5. Elit Vetlanda 22p

6. Piraterna, Motala 19p

7: Rospiggarna, Hallstavik 19p

8. Smederna, Eskilstuna 8p

9. Indianerna, Kumla 3p

10. kaparna, Göteborg 2p.

top 3 playoff safe (top 6 goes into play offs)

Smederna in "no man's land" with 8p ( but we'll get 'em next year ;) )

Bottom fight: Indianerna 1p ahead of kaparna,

They meet on thuesday, Kaparna needs to win with atleast 67-38 for a re-run for the bonus point a smaller victory means that its 100% certain that the "redskins" stays in the highest league.

Even if Kaparna manages to pass indianerna in the standings they are in the danger of being thrown out from the highest league see this thread for more info:

Danish League table.

Looking like Holsted for the title.Only have 4 meetings left. Two at home which they should win.The two away are the important ones. They have 1 away at Outrup who are weak, but have bolstered their team a bit with Kamil Zielinski and Richard Speiser of late. And the important one away at Slangerup. But Slangerup also have a fairly easy 4 meetings + the Holsted one.

Thats a real shame I was there thursday and it was a great meeting with Solkatterna.Good quality racing all night, plenty of passing and real close finishes.

It's a shame it attracts such a small crowd. After watching BEL (division 1) for twenty years the entertainment is much better in Sweden, sad it may be lost.
