Mateusz
Maybe it's a bit too early for this thread and I really don't wanna jinx the thing either but taking some recent news into consideration, me and others reckon that Tomek's come back, after 4 years in Tarnow, is likely to happen as never before. That's what local rumours have been saying for some time and now it seems to be based on some facts. The latest piece of news is that TG offered Polonia riders his help as for equipment issues for the race-off against ZG. Secondly, from some sources it's known that Tomek is fed up of long journeys between Bydg and Tarnow. Recent accidents can only amplify this.. Thirdly, the Biocol company (bio-petrochemical stuff) whose 20% shares are owned by TG is to aim at some markets in the northern Poland and as we know, money, sponsors etc. it's all much linked with speedway. Fourthly, TG's on very good terms with the current Polonia chairman, Mr Tillinger, who's actually a w@nker but it doesn't matter in this case Sixthly, TG didn't want to ride in the heat 14 of the match Bydgoszcz v Tarnow as he claimed he was a bit tired after previous day's GP tournament etc. but as the result was close, this way Tarnow probably lost a bonus point against Polonia. Last but not least, from the very beginning TG was saying he'd like to finish his career in his hometown. And looks like his time is about to come so when unless now? Needless to say I'll be more than happy if he gets home for the last years of his career. TG & AJ as a pair for the heat 15 sounds brilliant. Subedei
And sadly no Szczepan Bukowski at Tarnow either.
Mateusz
Yesterday, after the match in Torun, Gollob mentioned on the local radio that he's close to come back to Bydgoszcz and everything will be clear soon. He was also present at the practice at Polonia today helping some of our riders with their bikes. It's been the first time he was doing it since he moved to Tarnow so.. there must be something in the air (pics) Edited September 1, 2007 by Mateusz
Rico
Good to see Buczkowski's illness had cleared up to allow him to do his training yesterday. Wonder who was telling the lies regarding his absence from Smallmead last night. Rico

Rico
Recovering from a crash at Belle Vue on Wednesday was the official line - they even got granted rider replacement on medical grounds. Rico
Mama
Buczek asked Reading management for free day at Friday because Polonia had planned the challange match with Toruń (finally it was cancelled because of Toruń Thursday league match). Reading management knew about it on Wednesday or even earlier! I spoke to Buczek's girlfriend last Wednesday (before the match in Manchester) and she told me that Buczek would come back to Poland just after that match and would stay in Poland till Sunday. I've noticed Reading management likes to act like comunistic censors - some days ago I've registered for their forum and posted some info about Buczek just after some previous falls (I had that info from Buczek's girlfriend ). And after few hours my profile was blocked and all posts deleted! But coming back to Tomek Gollob - I think it's almost sure he is coming back home Just look at the pictures from Mati's link - he not only lend the engines but also set them up for our riders!
