marcusthepom
i was lucky to find a bike that had been rolled away and not riden for some 30 years, the bike is located in australia but i need to find out which rider rode the bike in the uk in the 40s or 50s.it seems that the rider may well have been australian and may well have rode for exeter,on the engine(1938 4/5 stud jap)and on the fuel tank is a nice silver solderd badge which has the words peamore garage, alphington, exeter.the engine is 1938 and the frame seems to be a early rotrax,it all seems to be dated around the mid 40s to 50s.after a little surfing on the nett i found a exeter rider called arthur pilgrim who rode for exeter around those times,he also purchased a garage in exeter around that time can anybody help me .either the rider worked for the garage, owned the garage or was sponserd by the garage. i can be contacted on .....morstonemanor@hotmail.com

He rented part of a property known as Peamore Garage at Alphington near Exeter and the machine had a small enamel badge on the fuel tank which depicted the Exeter town crest and the words Peamore Garage Alphinton Exeter. I have several pictures of this machine and the badge you mentioned, plus quite a bit of information, will email Chris
Andy H
I have noticed lately that the Workshop website is unavailable. I always enjoyed having a look on there for technical advice on older machines, found it very useful. Is there are any plans to get it up and running again???
