Paulco
OH No, Not a Kings Lynn rider selected by JC as the wild card, fiddle, fix, favourtism, im running out of F's here lol I cant wait for the comments to flow ( another f) in about what a git that JC is and how he always looks after his own etc.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Knew it - its a fix , bloody favouritism . Might have known Chapman would look after his own . Everybody knows the wildcard should be ...........Lee Dicken . Anyway despite this brazen carve up by the Kings Lynn promotion - i'll see you there Bagpuss
rhidassa
There is no issue about Topinka riding in the PLRC with an average of 9.20 he deserves to be in there and is clearly the second best averaged rider for any team and is better than most 1st riders for others!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree totally. I've booked the day off work after this.. Fingers crossed a coach will run from KL, if theres enough people. Should be, I'd think. JC - All I have to say is this:
Brummie Kev
Looking forwrd to this one, booked the day off work aswell to be there. Alot of people will fancy the usual suspects to win Zoro, Holder Compton and Nermark, but i think lyonsy has a good chance. Should be some cracking racing, cant wait. Star Lady
Will Topinka be the first rider to have ridden in both PLRC and ELRC in the same season?
Paulco
Will Topinka be the first rider to have ridden in both PLRC and ELRC in the same season? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry SL , but Robert Nagy done the 1992 equivalent . Riding in the top league one was part of the prize for winning the div 2 riders title .
Star Lady
Thanks for that, I was just curious following the furore about PL riders in this years ELRC.

Seb the Snail
Holder to scoop the spoils from Compton, Parker and (Orion's new hero) Topinka. Judging on his previous form at the Abbey, Zorro has no more chance of winning this than I do.
The H Man
Line up for PLRC as follows... Michal Makovsky - Berwick Jason Lyons - Birmingham Kaj Laukkanen - Edinburgh Shane Parker - Glasgow Chris Holder - Isle of Wight Daniel Nermark - King's Lynn Kyle Legault - Mildenhall Christian Henry - Newcastle Michal Rajkowski - Newport Gary Havelock - Redcar Tai Woffinden - Rye House Andre Compton - Sheffield Magnus Zetterstrom - Somerset Rusty Harrison - Stoke James Wright - Workington Tomas Topinka King's Lynn - WILD CARD <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can anyone confirm what averages are used to calculate the riders selected and what the cut off date for averages was? marron
Where JC and the BSPA are concered they could have come from anywhere.
wjm
Well sod it I will be different IMO wild card should have been Grieves or Complin. No conspiracie theories here or any thing but who picks the wild card is it picked by a committee ? And has there ever been one picked with an average what was not just "the next best " total lack of imagination just picking the next averaged rider IMO. If it is to be the next be rider so be it , but calling them a wild card is just a non sense, there is nothing wild about it , its just a logical decision, which is fair enough, im just asking the question. In fact I will even go as far as to suggest my own idea move the S.R.A riders vote forward so the results come out before the P.L.R.C and give the last spot to the highest place non P.L.R.C rider. Is this slanderous. Edited September 7, 2007 by wjm
marron
It is the top rider from each team plus the next highest scorer in the averages. At the moment Nermark is KL's highest scorer and Wright is Workigton's highest scorer. Topinka beats Nieminen to the next highest spot with Grieves the 3rd highest outside the top scorers from each club.

Chris
Will the Swindon mafia be gracing the PLRC with their presence or has the EL snob in them won through and believe attending such a meeting would be beneath them?

semion
With Makovsky already declared out for the season, will it be a Berwick rider to replace him ?...Also will Henry be fit to take his place...... I assume like the ELRC the home track will provide the meeting Reserves. Adams and Richardson ( transport permitting) could stand a good chance in this one if they get a late call up...
