Dusty Bins Sidekick
looking forward to this one but I imagine it will take a while to run and would go something like this replace 2 fence panels. 1 light failure a regular occurance lately. 2 mum v mum fights. 6 falls on track. 7 falls by various members of the hen party attending the meeting. One of the youngsters has to withdraw from the meeting due to a 9.00pm bedtime. One rider awarded £50 by the Ref for laying his bike down quickly to avoid the Teddy Bear that fell out of The Rider in front's Kevlars. If your coming to this one come along to the Back Straight opposite the start line and meet me and the rest of The Infamous BACK STRAIGHT GANG
Guest Christophers Dad
looking forward to this one but I imagine it will take a while to run and would go something like this replace 2 fence panels. Oh what a highly amusing post lets hope that if your prediction occurs no rider is injured Rather than stand on the back straight why not visit the pits where i know for a fact one young rider will be only to willing to loan you a bike to show how it should be done Edited August 31, 2007 by Christophers Dad

I would however like to see DBS on a speedway bike maybe we could have a Back Straight gang vs the hen night race during the interval I am sure people would pay to see that! I too am looking forward to this one although I do tend to watch it through the gaps in my fingers as I do worry about the young ones more than the oldies. I hope for a action packed meeting with no disasters and not too much of a hangover on Sunday. Good luck to all involved and may the best boy or girl win. Dusty Bins Sidekick
looking forward to this one but I imagine it will take a while to run and would go something like this replace 2 fence panels. But having been to quite a few of these rounds I know what its like, and at Weymouth no matter how many heats there are we never start earlier and on one or two occasions we ain't got all the heats in. I have by the way been around the Old Wessex Stadium on a speedway bike, many years ago and both Len Silver and Eddie Lack told me to stick to the Tractor. Any way Good Luck to All Riders for Tonight. Believe me it was all in fun as I have a wicked sense of Humor, I have to for Christ Sake I'm a Leeds Fan as well

colin
Yes a big well done to Brendan, having watched & enjoyed his progress at Oxford this year, I believe this youngster is one for the future. Again, well done to the young man and as Allen Trump said last night this guy gives 'nothing less than 100 per cent'. I hopefully will see & enjoy his progress in the the sport. Guest Christophers Dad
Well done Brendan!!... hope the rest of the series goes as well. All the best Rob <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just got home congratulations to Brendan on a well deserved victory Chris was well impressed with his 2 points, and once again many thanks to Vince for all his help tonight. Dusty i took it as a joke unfortunately your prediction was Spot On. Julie you are a star us Dads in the pits were all waiting for you to climb on the truck at the end of the meeting, when Tim mentioned all the talent on show we thought he was refering to you and the bride to be ,not the riders Rob before he fell asleep Christopher said "Oh thanks for the mention " Nice to see some mates as in Stressed and Bopper, feeling rather dicky i did decline a Ginsters that my friend Namron had brought for my attention. This will be a performance i do not intend to repeat. Another good day out and loads of laughs with my good mate Nigel Butler All the best Pat Bint Edited September 2, 2007 by Christophers Dad
stressed
Good to catch up Pat Great to see the youngsters have the tracktime and a good meeting, some goodun's on there way through, more meetings like this are needed. Well done to all the riders. Quick correction to the scorechart was heat 3 Michael Bovis who was the only reserve came in to replace Kye Norton who was excluded under 2 mins but retired. The two races missing were the Quarter Final and the Semi-Final these results can be found on Brendan's website
BobC
Great to see the youngsters have the tracktime and a good meeting, some goodun's on there way through, more meetings like this are needed. Well done to all the riders. Quite agree Tim.They certainly didnt hold back, did they?Well done to everyone. Special mention to Dan Greenwood,Shane Hazelden,James Sarjeant. All three impressed me on the night. James doing a good job of keeping out of trouble, and scoring in all his rides, and qualifying for the Final directly. Both Dan and Shane suffering several falls each, while in scoring positions. As their fathers said, they will both have learned a lot from the experience. Both riders happy with their nights work, although understandably slightly disappointed as well.Shane was hobbling around afterwards, believing he may have broken a toe. Im sure there will be a lot of bumps and bruises today. Finally, congratulations to Brendan.Well done mate.
