colincooke
In all honesty i can understand why there is confusion as too why Kenneth Bjerre isn't in now Crumpie has pulled out.If Sheildsy came in for Iversen cos he was the next rider in the pecking order then as KB is the next he should be in & not Troy surely
Star Lady
Could it be that at this short notice Bjerre is simply not available? That's probably far too simple an explanation tho Edited August 30, 2007 by Star Lady
Team Man
Dear me, I find it very sad to discover the fragility of the elite rider even with the services of their London specialists, I have no idea and wonder how the conference and premier riders manage on bumpy tracks without the service of London specialists. colincooke
Where is Andreas Jonsson? Is he not fit? Why is he not representing Lakeside? Was he asked? I most certainly hope he was. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it may have something to do with him not having done enough meetings to be eligible. I'm not 100% on this tho. Bagpuss
Probably again because the notice has been too short to replace riders who have pulled out in the last twenty four hours. Hence why locally based riders like Troy and Tomas have stepped into the breach. Crump not being there makes everone look very silly as he is the World Champ and most of the local press releases have him at the forefront. Ho hum! About time top riders either took Britain more seriously or stay away completely and let fully comitted rider take their place. His knee was a right mess last night - look at the full story here if you're prepared to. Forum member BobC was unlucky enough to have seen his knee last night and reckons it wasn't a pretty sight. Think even a PL or CL rider might have struggled with a glued together knee-cap. I'm just amazed he hasn't missed more meetings, but then perhaps even that's not good enough for some. Perhaps you'd prefer him to make it worse even in the long-term just to prove his worth Edited to add...speaking selfishly here but as a Poole fan, I too would rather he missed tonight to be fully fit for our crucial meetings coming up too. No good him riding tonight and then he's boogered for Monday and Wednesday. Edited August 30, 2007 by rabbit
Saint Rob
Revised prediction that will no doubt get on Silver Bee's t*ts coz I haven't mentioned any of his beloved Coventry riders in it 1 Leigh Adams 2 Nicki Pedersen 3 Krzysztof Kasprzak 4 Freddie Lindgren

If he says he can't ride that's good enough for me.

Shame you felt the need to put a Poole asset in there though
lynnstars
Crumpy always gives 100%, I'd like to see how many other riders can ride with a kneecap thats just stuck together with superglue..its amazing he's still riding. Give him a break, if he's injured then he's injured Edited August 30, 2007 by lynnstars

There is a lot of feeling of let down amongst supporters with this meeting, jason may be in a lot of discomfort, but I feel an appearance at the meeting would be a nice thing, who knows he may turn up. I think the meeting is not important enough for them.
Daniel Smith
I quite fancy Troy to be the suprise package tonight Adams, N Pedersen, Batchelor, Andersen in any order to win tonight
superguest
Im sure the Kings Lynn fans will be more than happy cheering for Troy Best of luck to Freddie, this will his first visit to the track though so it'll be good tester for when hes a GP rider

Shame you felt the need to put a Poole asset in there though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shame that I just so happen to like that Poole asset Think if you ran the BSPA the EL would only consist of Coventry and the ELRC would only consist of the Coventry Squad. Still, it's the only way Coventry are ever likely to win something
Peter
What a farce these meetings are. Prima donnas pulling sickies again. This is supposed to be the best of the Elite League. No second strings should be there. The EL is a weak enough product as it is. And what are two PREMIER league riders doing in the ELITE league riders championship?! Try explaining that to someone who is willing to become a fan. No wonder people don't take speedway seriously anymore.
Team Man
Are you saying that Crumpy has pulled out of this easily then?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I never referred to Jason Crump in the first place, I was actually meaning a lot of riders all of a sudden seem to be pulling out, I'm sorry if you think I was having a go at Crumpy in particular, it was never meant that way, just that this meeting seems to fall apart And I said it would be nice if he could be there even if he is not riding (being the holder of the ELRC)
