Zagar - play-off semi in Poland

Crump - Unbearable knee injury

Karlsson - ????????????

Iversen - Not rode since his crash with Crump

Screen - Struggling with a shoulder injury

All for me, genuine reasons to have pulled out (apart from Karlsson). So, the meeting isn't a farce just yet

What a farce these meetings are. Prima donnas pulling sickies again.  This is supposed to be the best of the Elite League. No second strings should be there.

This isn't a kid trying to get off school, "pulling sickies", surely if a rider is injured he cant help that and we should just accept that they cant race. As for the second strings being there, wouldn't people be moaning too if no riders were there...these riders coming in at late notice are doing the fans a favour to put on a great meeting. I am fully looking forward to seeing the best of the Elite League down at Lynn.

No, I never referred to Jason Crump in the first place, I was actually meaning a lot of riders all of a sudden seem to be pulling out, I'm sorry if you think I was having a go at Crumpy in particular, it was never meant that way, just that this meeting seems to fall apart

And I said it would be nice if he could be there even if he is not riding (being the holder of the ELRC)

It would be nice if he is there and I'm sure he will. Even without Crumpy and the other injured riders there are still many great riders riding tonight so all is not lost yet.

I am fully looking forward to seeing the best available riders from the Elite League down at Lynn.

People really do need to zip there lip sometimes.

Riders get injured all the time and miss major events, even GP's. End of

Not in particular, just that the premier and conference riders do ride under more difficult conditions and don't pull out so easily.

There is a lot of feeling of let down amongst supporters with this meeting, jason may be in a lot of discomfort, but I feel an appearance at the meeting would be a nice thing, who knows he may turn up.

I think the meeting is not important enough for them.

but then again how many other meetings are the premier league riders riding in? How many are competing in the gp every other week.....

The EL is a weak enough product as it is. And what are two PREMIER league riders doing in the ELITE league riders championship?! Try explaining that to someone who is willing to become a fan. No wonder people don't take speedway seriously anymore.

YES DAMN THAT JOE SCREEN AND SIMON STEAD WHO IS DUE TO BE HIS REPLACEMENT! plonker!!

Starting to feel happy my mate couldn't get the day off work and not give me a lift, how can the ELITE league riders championship have track reserves from the premier league?

Surely there must be some EL riders that are available to take a place of track reserve

Get rid of this rubbish tournament and replace with a watered down version for the riders who ride their hearts out each week but always end up with low averages/points scores. At least you are guaranteed a full line up and, even though they're not the best riders in the league, I think it would still provide a good level of entertainment. For example, 16 riders involved could be

Kevin Doolan

Olly Allen

Lewis Bridger

Tobi Kroner

Leigh Lanham

Danny King

Eddie Kennett

Jonas Davidsson

Andy Moore

David Howe

Craig Boyce

Piotr Swiderski

Mads Korneliussen

Mark Lemon

Cam Woodward

Robert Miskowiak
