Cheers Sue... Talked to Dekker, and he said they don't normally do it as format isn't setup and most people are either there or working!!!

Heat 8 Ambulance on track as Grieves had a coming together with Woodward and Nermark....Nermark is back on his feet. Grieves excluded from the re-run.

Heat 8 Woodward excluded from re-run , harshly in Davy's opinion.

Heat 11 Stopped, Stonehewer's bike seemed to seize which pushed over the handlebars. Ambulance on track but hopefully just as a precaution.

Heat 13 Tessari replaces Stonehewer

Heat 14 Tully replaces Stancl

Heat 16 Watson excluded for interfering with Burza (had to laugh at that terminology, it sounds rude!)

stoney was taken to hospital in an ambulance a few races after his crash with his van following so as there was no urgency i would presume it will be just for a once over although i would be surprised if he is riding tomorrow night he hit the deck pretty hard

Re Stoney I suspect it was some form of mechanical failure (chain or collapsed front wheel spindle ?) which caused him to fall so awkwardly before entering 3rd bend whilst last, and rotate several times on the track before coming to a halt next to the fence.

He had done ok in his first two rides, displaying his liking for the Armadale track.

Some ruthless riding out there as well as some excellent passing.

Dan was the one who made it count in the final, but imo the star of the show was young Tai, whose trackcraft was excellent and more amazing, considering it was his 1st ever meeting at the Dale. He also came over as a modest individual when interviewed, so I assume he must take this from his Mother :P .

The home challenge was muted, with George apparently blowing an engine & Matty also appearing to have engine trouble.

Young Kalle showed further improvement and was hot on the heels of Grievesey in one race.

Not surprisingly Daniele appeared tentative after his long lay off from his ligament damage.

Didnt realise this was on (shows the attention I pay, eh?) but lovely to get home and find that Dan the Man had a win. :)

Also nice to see Tai & Shane finishing in the top 4, and of course Doolan, an ex-Lynn rider. :P

Was the racing as good with the 3 riders a heat format?

i think young tai was the star of the show last night considering it was his first time on the armadale track he got it sussed pretty quick and there has been plenty of far more experienced riders over the years who have never got the hang of the place
