Badge
taken from speedwayworldtv.: JAROSLAW Hampel has suffered a complicated hand fracture in a Swedish league meeting. He may not be back on track this season. A worse setback could hardly have happened for Jarek, at this moment of the speedway season. Hampel, who had some motor problems in the spring, was now getting back to his best form. He won the Speedway World Cup with Poland, and he took second place in the Czech Grand Prix last Saturday. "I am back on the right track. Now I can chase," he said with a smile in Prague... In the Swedish league match between Dackarna and Elit Vetlanda, Hampel had an accident with Fredrik Lindgren. The Polish rider lost control of his machine and his Swedish colleague was unable to avoid him. "We still do not know how long Jarek will be ruled out for. It depends on a medical examination. First speculations suggest three months' break," says Stanislaw Kryjom, Unia Leszno coach Poor Jarek get well soon.
