Gaz W
Quite a few people have been saying "on any other track Denmark would have won". Where do you think the final would of needed to be held for any of the other teams to win ? I think Poland would have won on any track in Poland. Poole would be the place to see the Aussies take gold. Peterborough or Vojens would of seen Denmark win easily. As for Great Britain..... possibly Wolverhampton??? Subedei
Hold the meeting anywhere you like and Great Britain aren't going to win. The Australians and Danes are far too strong. Everyone talks of the massive advantage the Poles had tonight. But would Great Britain even have made the final if their opening round hadn't been against a weakened Sweden at Brandon? Interestingly, the top three teams in the final all raced in the Vojens round. Great Britain were almost gifted a place in the final. spedy
As for Great Britain..... possibly Wolverhampton??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Doubt it!! Maybe if the Brits had a half a lap headstart and the other teams were blindfolded and forced to wear straitjackets!!! BritPete
It's obvious to me that the final, when held in the UK, should be at Lakeside. After all, can you imagine that this team would lose to anyone: 1) Loram 2) Hurry 3) Lanham 4) Louis 5) Stead. I rest my case.
shazzybird
They'd have to make vast improvements to both track a facilities if it were there Nice big car park and once decent burger van but thats about it

Saint Rob
It doesn't matter where it's held and if Team GB were the only team in it, they would still somehow balls up and finish 2nd
Daniel Smith
For Great Britain to ever win the World Cup, Denmark, Australia and Poland would have to of been stuck at the airport.
