I would dearly love to see Team GB do it! There is no reason why they can't!

With regards to the Aussies, guess that all depends on what Boycey does with the team, if he sticks with what he has been using or if he decides to bring Davey Watt in for the final!

Think I shall go with the flow here and state that as long as the Danes don't win it and Team GB show a good strong force then that is OK!

Ideal World it would be:

Team GB

Australia

Poland

Denmark

edited due to serious blonde moment! Der!

let's see how your prima donnas get on with no home track advantage, the slightest bit of grip and Nikki and Hans will be playing the sore wrists card again!!

Yeah cos Nicki hates grippy tracks doesn't he.;)

The Danes are head and shoulders above every other speedway nation, but sadly that counts for very little at Leszno.

Home advantage and the luck of the draw (because Blue has a ridiculous advantage in this series) means that Poland are favourites.

I'd like Scott, Chris and Simon to have a good meeting (unlikely in the latter's case).

I'd also like Walasek, Nicki P, Hans and Crump to do well...but the result itself means nothing to me...que sera, sera

:)

Guest chris26

well, in terms of consistency over the course of the season of the riders in each nation, then the result should be

1st. Australia - all have had a good year :D

2nd. GB - a consistent year for pretty much all of them :)

3rd. Denmark - Hans, Nicki, and Bjarne been consistent - Bjerre and Iversen up and down in terms of form :D

4th. Poland - so unpredictable :P:D

And finaly - it is Nicki (and not Nikki), but to you it´s actuly Mr. Pedersen !!!!

I like it spelt Nikki cos it's nice and girly to match his hairdryer and I could think of a few other choice names rather than Nikki or Mr Pedersen

I will make Race-off Spreadsheet/programme for the Final and put a link here on speedway-forum.co.uk

There's normally a thread with it on can't think who does the sheets off hand though.

66/1 on GB winning :D

Hmmmmmmm Bomber to win Cardiff 25/1 and them in Cardiff laughed at me ...... 66/1 TEAM GB winning the SWC  Sod if I lose I lose at the end of the day I've got to have faith in them else I wouldn't be a TEAM GB fan would I? B)

You have to get the other 3 in the right order too, so there's a little bit more to it that that, but that didn't sounds quite so good if I'd put that in the original post :D

Weather permitting ideal Speedway day tommorow, Workington v Glasgow then go home and watch the SWC. :D

The heart says a win for team GB, but the brain says:

1.Denmark.

2.Poland.

3.Australia.

4.GB.

Or............. could be completley different.

That I can agree with. I just don't understand why it is allowed year on year. Surely it should be possible to create an equality of starting positions. Blue, as far as I can see, gets a huge advantage with the favourable gates throughout the meeting.

I would dispute that Denmark are head and shoulders above the other nations. Nicki P and Andersen are top rate, but NKI, Bjerre and BP are hardly world beaters. I'd say there isn't that much between Australia and Denmark, other than Denmark having a greater depth of talent. But that doesn't matter with 5 man teams.
