shazzybird
No matter how much I watch it they are just not improving Why thing I did find strange though during the LIVE coverage there wasn't really a lot of interviewing of the Brits to find out what was going wrong was there? Subedei
Yes, but Sky's policy is to interview race winners, isn't it. And I guess maybe the British riders didn't want to be interviewed. In fact, it seemed like only the Poles were getting interviewed by young Louis between races, with Gollob, Kasprzak and Hampel featuring regularly. robbieblackadder fan club
thought it was a pretty embarrising performance never ever seen so called world class riders so far behind even when they made the gate the only one to show any bottle was scotty
Ashie
thought it was a pretty embarrising performance never ever seen so called world class riders so far behind even when they made the gate the only one to show any bottle was scotty <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So Chris Harris battling in a couple of heats, which resulted in one rider kissing the air fence was not showing any kind of bottle? Lee Richardson also mixed it pretty hard in once race. Ok... I should be talking about them mixing it in every race, and the England performance was poor, no arguments here, but I don't think making a comment that they showed no bottle is neither justified, nor fair. ha en bra födelsedag
My family and I went to Poland. We knew GB wouldn't run away with it, but we thought our big boys, Scott and Chris, would win their heats and mix it up a bit. However, the teams performance was very poor. We seemed to have speed out the gate, but the bikes just wern't fast enough to race. At some point i could have sworne we were peddling backwards!! The boys were not miles off, but we just didn't look anywhere near good enough. I think the team was the strongest we could have put out, but it just wasnt good enough to ride against the big boys. I doubt that anything was up with Walasek, he was extremly bad, made the crowd really angry, so they brought in the local hero. They broke the rules...but can you really say, that in the same situation, the other countries wouldnt do the same? Where will the Wtc be next year? Heard wispers about it being in britian...could this give us a chance to show we can hack it with the big boys? maybe.

Lawrence
Does anyone know why SWC race-Off and Final is only in Poland and GB?? What about Sweden and Danmark?
Trees
That's good to hear Steve, I think ALL british people, if truth be known, yearn for our national team to be a strong force again, you only had to listen to the pins dropping at Cardiff when the national anthem was about to be played to realise that As proud as punch the people were
Subedei
I'd imagine only Great Britain and Poland want it, or want it and are prepared to pay for it.
JIROUT
Well personally i love to win...But just to have Great Britain/England involved in anything is enough to get me supporting them...through thick and thin.....Been supporting Cricket for 25 years through very lean times....amazing how many cricket supporters turned up after we won the ashes....At the end of the day people support winners...thats why everyone was so happy at Cardiff...But you know what....much as i would love to Americanise myself and say...."Winning is everything".....Its not im afraid....and for people to claim Team GB were disgusting etc is wrong.....Ian Huntley is disgusting.....Myra Hindley was disgusting....Not a team of Speedway riders who are the 4th best team in the world....think on jaybea

Peter S.
Does anyone know why SWC race-Off and Final is only in Poland and GB?? What about Sweden and Danmark? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please, lets not have it in Denmark. If GB doesn´t win you will all blame Hans for this or that. If Australia doesn´t win you will blame Nicki. If it rains, its to windy, a GB rider falls, there is to much traffic, or Poland doesn´t win, you will blame Ole Olsen... Sweden would be an OK place ( a good number of their doctors are educated in Denmark, by the way! ) See you Peter
