Tracy M
Wonder if any one could help me out, ive noticed in the speedway star that huszcza hasnt been riding so much since he moved from ZG to poznan, is this due to injury? just concerned weather he is ok . many thanks. tracy. Subedei
He's getting on a bit, you know. I suspect he just isn't riding well enough to make the team. He rode in most of Poznan's meetings last season, but this season they're in a higher division.

Scored 10 points earlier this month. see http://www.przegladzuzlowy.pl/news_lc.php?id=1089892428

TwoMinuteWarning
Huszcza beat both Gjedde and Max in an exciting meeting at Poznan yesterday, and looked great, he's still willing to mix it on the first bend - I couldn't believe that I was watching the same rider that I saw riding for Hackney 26 years ago. Must be one very fit guy. And that's a fine article by Roman Chyla in Backtrack!

TwoMinuteWarning
Just checked, he rode for Leicester in 1980, plus 5 matches in '81.
Subedei
Just checked, he rode for Leicester in 1980, plus 5 matches in '81. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He also rode for Hackney and Reading in 1981. I'd guess that the whole Solidarity thing then blew up and affected the opportunities for Poles to ride in the UK after that.
Tracy M
Read in this weeks speedway star that he was 50 in march, christ i honestly didnt think he was that old, bless him hes still doing well, he must be the oldest rider out there now isnt he? TwoMinuteWarning
I think he's the oldest rider competing in competitive league racing, yes. Just hope he stays healthy, it takes rather longer at that age to recover from injuries. The oldest regular rider anywhere appears to be Hugh Randolph, who rides in California most weeks. He is about 75 I think!
