Grachan
Who was the race director at Coventry that did such a better job than Olsen did in Denmark then?
BritPete
Maybe they should use cinders on the track?
SCB
We normally see better racing in 15 heats at Coventry than we saw in 25 last night, so Ole must have been involved! OK it was betetr than Vojen but only for those who did not fall asleep or turn off half way through.
garf
. . . . . . those who did not fall asleep or turn off half way through. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Last night ? Actually I did not think that the racing in Coventry, on the telly, seemed that much better than physically beeing in Vojens. But then again I guess that the athmosphere means a lot, especially when you compares to the telly sound etc.
tigerblues
It was a brilliant meeting, but surely it doesn't take 20/20 vision to see how much dust was coming off the track, looked really slick, or did from the Sky cameras anyway. It was about a million times better than Vojens though so can't complain.

The graders just seem to be flattening it out. Cannot something more suitable be used to grade tracks to provide better overall racing surfaces for longer than the first few heats? There even used to be 4 or 5 rakers on each bend.
Sir Jasper
Well i cant agree that last night was a great meeting,it was better than the meeting from Vojens, that is the slickest I have seen Coventry for a long time (the track started off better on firday night) At Coventry we have the magic wheel which a lot better than the normal graders. Joanne
I have a note for Ole, sort out that swaying bridge over the pits. It was a bit scary with loads of people on it
