*Emma-Louise*
And no, never won any British titles myself , but then Im not a Speedway rider. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> didn't think so ... Every rider has ups/downs, injuries/mechanical and personal problems etc to deal with and there could be books written for every single excuse that has been given over the years. Every rider deals with things in their own way, just like the rest of us do. Being british, i support the british boys through the good and the bad. Scott has been off form until recently, but Prague and tonight along with his recent form in EL he's now showing he is getting back to the form that we know he is capable of. Well done Scotty for your 'effort'

Well done Scotty for your 'effort' <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I cant imagine why you think I would have won any British/English titles. I am certainly not disputing the fact that Nicholls puts every effort into his racing. I don't know any rider that does not. Its just that some riders have more talent than others and are winners , not whinging also rans. Well perhaps thats a little harsh , just a not quite there yet rider would be a better and more civilised way of putting it. toddle pip ! SCB
2005 Italian GP 2nd It's fair to say though, he's Mr infuriating. When he's good he is phenomenal, when he's bad he is bad! An on form Scott Nicholls is worth paying to see and a joy to watch, when he's struggling he just annoys everyone watching. Guest chris26
scott has consistency but he just needs to take that vital final step to getting into the semis all the time and making the finals on a fairly regular basis

Star Lady
I can't beleive in trying to defend Nicholls people are saying Gollob hasn't got talent Putting all rivalries aside think back and decide which of the two riders can make moves out of nowhere. Which of the two can ride lines no other rider does and make them work. Which of the two has had fans on the edges of their seats in GPs for the last decade. Clue - it ain't Nicholls. As for injuries being used as an excuse - Nicki Pedersen anyone? Jason Crump anyone? Personal issues - well we all have them and how we deal with them is part of our make up, but is shouldn't affect the way we do our jobs. That's called professionalism. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind here, cos you won't change mine, but if you are going to defend someone make sure you don't knock others to do it as it just devalues your arguement and makes you look desperate.
