Hazzman
Name a Brit good enough, especially after the SWC Final where GB rode like a conference team <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a joke - with tongue firmly in cheek.
Saint Rob
It's a joke - with tongue firmly in cheek. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sorry, was to busy having a moan at the so called Poole fans slagging off a rider who has been at the club for 6 years and shown more loyalty than half of his team mates in that period
CMV06
If we did get an extra spot, I would give it to Loram, I think in this format he would do quite well.

Subedei
Good effort from Scotty, Bit of a disappointing night for Bomber ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Five thirds from six rides is a "good effort"?
*Emma-Louise*
Five thirds from six rides is a "good effort"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is considering he hasn't had the best start to the season in the league / GP's. He's had personal issues, injury and mechanical issues to deal with, which he seems to be getting through now. He is finally getting his fighting spirit back and it shows. He is trying his hardest and he is fighting til the end. He is a born racer, he's just had a rough time of late. He got into the semi's which can only be good for his confidence. It was a tough semi for him to be in too. Still, every point counts ...
JIROUT
Subdei Thought Scott did ok tonight...not brilliant...but enough to prove entertainment wise he is a must for the GP Series......Gave your God a good run for his money.....after his 4 lasts in the last Gp perhaps you are as blinkered as Nicki was tonight jaybea
Silver Bee
Five thirds from six rides is a "good effort"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can't fault Scott's EFFORT, which was in question.
orion
Five thirds from six rides is a "good effort"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He done the best he could and tryed 100 % what else do want him to do ?
Subedei
You can't fault Scott's EFFORT, which was in question. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have I ever questioned his effort, save for when it comes to actually entering the qualification process? Effort on its own only brings rewards on death-trap tracks like Prague in the last GP, or against mediocrities such as Stead in the Elite League. When you get to a track in decent condition, like tonight, you need a hell of a lot more. And Nicholls hasn't got a lot more.
JIROUT
How come Gollob only just beat him tonight in there race....Are you saying Gollob should not be in the GP's either jaybea
Silver Bee
The only thing Nicholls is lacking is speed. He had the track craft to get the better of Gollob, He pretty much lead him for 3 and a half laps but hasn't got enough pace to hold them off. When he wakes up and realises he needs to get his bikes SORTED he can take on ANYONE. You, however, need to realise that Gollob does not have more racing ability than Scott (oh, 'and the rest of team GB put together') in his little finger. For someone who lacks so much racing talent, did a pretty good job of matching your hero for track craft, don't you think?

All riders have injuries , personal isseus and its up to them to sort out their mechanicial problems. Unforunately I would liken him to Tim Henman , one of the best England has but ... well who knows he may come good one day but I dont see it happening. Steve Turner
But Scott helps provide entertainment in the GP's. There are some who certainly do not. The rider's don't all have to be World-Champions-in-waiting to be a valuable part of the Series, do they ?! If so, we would have just 4 or 5 riders in it

And not just his little finger, but a clipping off the nail of his little finger. You bigged up the former British champion, he didn't deliver. For someone who lacks so much racing talent, did a pretty good job of matching your hero for track craft, don't you think? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did he? No, I disagree, he hasn't anywhere near the trackcraft of Gollob, just relies on charging around and bullying lesser riders, or taking advantage of shocking track conditions. They met twice and Gollob made mincemeat of him on both occasions, just as Gollob left him for roadkill in the SWC final.
boxer123
I disagree. They are genuine reasons that have affected his form. He's had many personal issues to deal, plus the birth of his first child, along with his injury in Lonigo. Give the guy a break he's only human !!! Have you forgotten how many times he's been british champion ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LoL , hardly a prestigious title , like I said until this year when Harris won it he was probably the best England had to offer. Every rider is human , they all have issues to deal with but don't keep carping on about it. Crump just had a very painful knee cap , Pedersen had painful arm surgery and your saying Nicholls had painful child birth !! Think you need to give me a break
Subedei
Being british, i gather being British Champion numerous times means alot too him !! Wonder how many british champ trophies you own ...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Tomasz Gollob has been Polish champion seven times and this time next week it could be eight (the Polish final is on Wednesday). God alone knows how many times Leigh Adams has been Australian champion, or Greg Hancock American champion. Now, let's bang GP titles on the table. Gollob has ten, Hancock seven (I think), Adams five and the former British champion has none.
boxer123
Being british, i gather being British Champion numerous times means alot too him !! Wonder how many british champ trophies you own ...... Dealing with a bad injury in Lonigo and a knock to his confidence is tough, dealing with mechanical problems since the start of the season isn't his problem but still tough and frustrating, sleepless nights with a new born baby will be tiring ........ dealing with the death of close family member - not so easy. Like i say, he's only human, give him a break. As for crump riding with a 'supposedly' broken knee cap - that's just idiotic ! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Family bereavement is certainly not a suitable topic to bring to this forum IMO. I will say no more about that save every sane thinking person would be sympathetic to anyone in that situation. The rest of the stuff is just a repeat of what you have already posted. Who's to say , Crump made his decision and rode , it was his call , but to the best of my knowledge he never complained or made a fuss about it. And no, never won any British titles myself , but then Im not a Speedway rider.
