Am I the only one who has had enough of Sub? His comment about taking the last 2 GPs, holds little water, I am taking Scott's performances since the end of June.  4 GPs. A longer period of time. His EL average since July is also 11-ish.

Face it, he is clearly in good form. Certainly in the top 16 of the world and worthy of his place in the GPs so really, get over yourself!

Look at 351 & 359 Authorised, you are not alone

To be honest, I don't like Subes constant jibes at Scotty BUT I do respect the fact that he IS entitled to his opinion and in all fairness Scotty has proved him right many times. I just sincerely hope that if Scott qualifies the right way for next seasons GP's then Sub will be gracious enough to admit he deserves it.

Erm, tongue in cheek

Anyway, different veiw again. You may call it stirring, i call offering support to other members.I'm just glad to see i'm not the only one who has this opinion.I'm enjoying the debates on other threads & there are some thoroughly decent people on this forum but what i see in this thread from certain people is not debate or opinion but a downright slur on Scott's character.I've said before i'm not saying this cos i'm Scott's biggest fan. I'm just saying he deserves more respect.

I do hope that i don't have to keep repeating myself.

Oh, and by the way, why is it considered hypocritical to say that there will always be more than 1 british rider in the series. This is a fact of the selection process & until any better british lads emerge Scott will remain to be chosen.I'm not saying that's right it'sjust how it is.

And if he doesn't will you be gracious enough to admit he should be kicked out of the GPs?

I'd like to think I'm a gracious type of fellow and if you look on page 1 of this very thread you'll find evidence to support such as assertion.

At the end of the day Sub now chooses to call Scott - the Former british Champion.

Well thats fine by me as he is in very good company along with:

Kelvin Tatum

Simon Wigg

Louis Chris & John

Andy Smith

Mark Loram

Peter Craven

Barry Briggs

Ivan Mauger

Michael Lee

and Kenny Carter

to name a few.

Over to the geeks for the others!!

At the risk of being a geek Andy Smith must surely be in that roll of honour. :)

Probably way before your time Sandie.

You earn respect, it's not something you have a right to.

And I have no respect for someone who comes out with big, bold, brave words after winning a Mickey Mouse event to the effect that if he can't qualify on merit for the GPs it'll mean he shouldn't be there and promptly forgets those words as soon as he fails AGAIN.

Sandie,

You've caught most of them yourself, does that also make you a geek?

Missing are Chris Morton, Neil Evitts, Joe Screen, Gary Havelock, Dave Jessup, Peter Collins, Eric Boocock, Malcolm Simmons, Ray Wilson, Steve Bastable and Andy Grahame.

All the best

Rob

...............and also Rob there's a certain Ivan Mauger who won it 4 times along with Barry Briggs, John Louis is the other one missing

As Sandie says not bad company eh! oops: geek alert :P

All the best

Oh, do get over yourself.

Do you not think that Scott is respected by his team colleagues.?.No,of course he isn't that's why they make him skipper isn't it.

Do you not think his rivals respect him the same as he respects them?.

.....but then you're never wrong are you Sube.

Respect comes in different forms.

Personally, I have respect for anyone who gets on a bike.

I have even more respect for those who put their heart and soul into their racing 100% of the time.

Scott just happens to be one of those people.

Subedei believes that Nicholls hasn't earnt HIS respect from his actions regarding accepting the wildcard. It's a fair point and different people have different expectations of what earns respect. It's no good arguing about it, you won't change Subedeis mind and he won't change yours.
