GARRYH
Neil whether Shane rode is irelevent. As i said the main thing is the 250's are getting promoted and well done to all 7 riders , there parents and anyone who got involved in getting the whole thing off the ground. Shane will be moving on to a 500 in a couple of months and this is thanks to learning to ride on the 250. Without that experience he would not have made the progress he has. So lets hope that by these meetings starting to take place that it makes the move from junior track to 250 and then on to the 500 a smooth transition for the youngsters and a safer one at that. morganbike
Why should he? Winning Cardiff doesn't mean he has to enter everything. From what I understand this was organised way before Cardiff anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As you said yourself you watched the SEVEN of them. Makes sense to put a 4 man team out and bringing him in at short notice due to an injury to a rider makes sense and evens up the teams. p'boro lad
It also says as a mark of repect for Matty the riders didn't want his shoes filled. Whats wrong with that?? Matty will be able to take his place again sometime and why should his place be filled for a rider to be dropped when he comes back. As Garry says Shane will be moving up in a couple of months, and he will then be making some of the 500 riders sit up and take notice, he's a great rider and deserves to do well. gordi
Yes my mate at Lynn was raving about Marc Owen from the other night, hopefully more of us will get to see him ride soon... Less seriously, shouldn't these two teams change their names ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The teams may well change their names for certain meetings if local companies wish to sponsor meetings. C.W. products sponsored this first meeting, a big thankyou to Colin White for this, the boys loved the race jackets. Marc, as well as all the boys, went well on the night. You can see him at Sittingbourne as he is their mascot. He also rides at different tracks up and down the country. He likes Rye House and now Kings Lynn. Mr Anonomous
Great to hear all went well on the night. Why didn't 250 Cardiff winner Shane Hazleton ride ? Phil <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why should he? Winning Cardiff doesn't mean he has to enter everything. From what I understand this was organised way before Cardiff anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you read arena forum you will find out why shane didn t ride, Plus alot of the arrangments for this meeting were made at training sessions once the lads had became mates and were comfortable with each other on track (which shane hasn t been attending) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It also says as a mark of repect for Matty the riders didn't want his shoes filled. As Garry says Shane will be moving up in a couple of months, and he will then be making some of the 500 riders sit up and take notice, he's a great rider and deserves to do well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nobody rode in the free space as all other riders agreed that it should stay free as it was Matt's spot! Hopefully the few main people who organsied the whole thing will be doing it again real soon! But i must just say a massive well done should be given to the Boston Barracudas Promotion and Chapman family, for allowing the youngsters to ride there! They rode after a KingsLynn meeting as the Boston one had been postponed to allow thei KL fixture!
