You'll have to wait till October to have any confirmation.

Probably won't have to wait that long for the Cardiff date. I normally get my tickets in August each year so we should know sometime this month.....hopefully.

These threads come up at least 6 times a year

All I know is

Leszno takes over from Wroclaw

Cardiff is on till 2011

The Danish Gp will probably be moved

The Danish GP will be moved? Really? I thought they had a full house this year.

Really? that's news to me. What are they doing with it?

The Coca-Cola stands are being re-built in order to make it a bigger capacity

From wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parken_Stadium

''In the future, the so-called "Coca-Cola stands" will be demolished and replaced by new ones. This will raise the capacity to 42,765 seats. During the construction phase only about 35,000 spectators will be able to see the national team play their 2008 Euro qualifiers. On 2006-11-11 chairman of Parken Sport & Entertainment, Flemming Østergaard, told about the good dialog with Copenhagen Municipality about the construction permit, and the possibility about building a multiarena at Parken[3]. On 2007-06-27 it was published that the new arena and stand will be ready in 2009, together with a new wall function in the stadium, to split the stadium in to halfes, while the roof is over. The wall will be filled with air, which makes it soundproof''

The problem is because of the work on the stands there won't be a roof.So the lower capacity isn't a problem. They will still be able to host sports events. But the fact there is no roof is the problem for speedway.

What do people think about the chances of a GP being in Russia with all the big money being thrown about over there?

As far as I have heard, the problem with Russia is the security. The idea has been that the riders buses should go as a caravan from the border to the Stadium (I guess the Grand Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex in Moskow with 84000 seats would be a good option), just to guarantee the safety.

BUt last year I meet one of the polish GP-commentators in Latvia. She said BSI have been thinking of a race in Hungary and a smaller town in Russia. Just to invent the interest of speedway in Russia. But she was talking about 2007, and nothing happened, so the might wait another year or two, or even until Emil S is qualified :D

i Think Hungary would be a good place to go to. Dont know if they have good permanent arena or if its more appropriate to use a bigger stadium like the Nep Stadium?
