frigbo
Agree with the last two posts. I thought Lukas problem was his gating, not the injury. What about that move by the Russian. On an aweful track, he stuck at to go all the way round the outside of David right on the line. Brilliant ride, and I can't even remember the guys name. The miracle worker who managed to pass someone on that excuse of a track was Renat Gafurov

I was well impressed with the Russians attitude. They must have known they didn't have a realistic chance but the interviews with Roman were great. You'd have thought they were the faves. Joanne
Just like to wish the Brits all the best for tonight even though I don't know if I will get to see it myself. Every rider in the British team has played their part to get to the Final. WELL DONE LADS
Brightonbob
I think all the riders, if they get a podium spot, should be able to wear a special BPSA star (either bronze silver or gold) on their racing suits. GB will return home as heros whatever happens today. My bet? I think its hard to see anything but a bun-fight between the aussies and the Danes, but the podium spot is anyone from the other three I reckon - and I fancy the Brits to have the momentum and belief to win out. shazzybird
BB me and you are sounding more and more alike I am with you on this one the podium belongs to TEAM GB tonight Win or lose we have had a fantastic World Cup. Team spirit has been second to none, if the boys can keep that going then we WILL win and bring the trophy home.......... Like the idea of the Gold/Silver/Bronze star. Hope they get theirs quicker than the England squad of '66 COME ON YOU BRITS LIFT THAT WORLD CUP TONIGHT
Leg Trailer
I've got a funny feeling in me waters about this one tonight. I think we're gonna win it. The bikes will be set up for gating and Pedersen will not be able get up to his usual havoc inducing antics as he'll not be able to get near. Norris will cry as he lifts the cup, Nicholls will be hailed the new Peter Collins, Havvy will rediscover his youthful exuberance of old and I'll get completely mashed and wake up feeling like crap again. Ace. Leggy.

Phil
Well done to all the lads, I think they all raised their game for the occasion and rode with passion and determination for Great Britain. You have done us proud. Middlo picked the right team for tracks and well done to him. I did think before the world cup started about putting in a few youngsters in but as pointed out they would have been out of their depth especially on the slick track on Thursday night. Considering the amount of talent in the world cup I think we did well, you only have to look at the Australian team with 3 of the top GP riders in the world. Well done lads! Looking forward to the SWC next year back in Britain.
Trees
My m8 and I were out in Denmark for the race-off and WTC final and we were 100% proud of our British team. Their performances at Outrup were especially satisfying, it was wonderful to have the upper edge, as we did last year at Sheffield, and it was only the skill/engine set up/experience (pick which ya like) of Leigh Adams and Jason Crump (2 of the top 5 riders in the WORLD) in the last 2 races that stopped us winning. It was also touching for us fans that the whole team threw their bouquets, after the presentation, to the contingent of british supporters. We were all out there to support "our" team and it was brilliant to be recognised by them in that way Onto the final at Vojens, had a word with Middlo before the meeting and he said the guys were all well up to do a good job, there was no doubting their passion, will and determination. Although the result defied their effort, the spirit of the team can only take TeamGB onto bigger and better results. Here's to them all and here's to TeamGB 2004!!!! Thanks.
